The Study OnXinyi's Rural Old-aged Supporting Patterns In Guangdong Province

Aging society has been unconsciously approaching with the social development.Aging problem is not only a worldwide social problem,but also a main characteristic of human development in this century.China has carried out family planning policy for nearly 40 years,however,aging problem becomes increasingly serious.There are several main aging features in main land China,for instance,large population,rapid development,unstable economic foundation and social economic developing level is unable to afford the requirement of aging population,which makes China grow old before it grows wealthy.Aging supporting problem becomes the focus of attention of whole society.The weakness,for example,unstable economic foundation,limited ability of elderly support,unhealthy and incomplete old-age security system lead aging care problem more serious and create a series of social problems as well.This study states the current situation,trend,main characteristics and factors of rural aging in Xinyi by investigating Guangdong Xinyi's old-aged supporting patterns.It points out that there are several ways of old-aged supporting in Xinyi rural areas,including family and land support,endowment insurance and elderly caring by institution.Family old-aged support becomes the main old-aged supporting pattern with social development,however,traditional family old-aged support is getting weaker because of the affection of progression of urbanization,young adults' attitudes and so on.Therefore,different old-aged supporting patterns appear based on this situation.Moreover,the main issue of rural old-aged supporting patterns is that Xinyi's old-aged support is insufficient to meet the demand of current situation,because of the limitation of current economics and policies.Besides,in order to find internal and external factors which affect rural old-aged supporting patterns,advices and responses on development of Xinyi's old-aged supporting industry will be given by learning the elderly caring methods from western countries and developed areas in China.To solve problem of Xinyi's old-aged support,on one hand,more support and attention should be given though designing relevant policies.On the other hand,it is important to propagate filial duty and improve relevant basic infrastructure,in the meanwhile,other old-aged supporting patterns should be developed and other social entities should be included in order to make Xinyi's rural old-aged supporting industry develop steadily.
