A Study On The Party’s Ethnic Policy And The Social Chanfges Of Zhuang People ——Taking Shuangqiao Township Of Wuming District As An Example

After the founding of New China,the Party and the state organized experts and scholars to conduct a socio-historical survey of the Zhuang people in Shuangqiao Township,Wuming County（now Shuangqiao Township,Wuming District）.Taking the socio-historical survey of Zhuang in Shuangqiao Township,Wuming County in the 1950 s as a reference point,the article conducts a new field survey to describe and analyze the changes of Zhuang society in Shuangqiao Township with the Party’s ethnic policy as the main line.On the basis of historical documents and information,the article discusses the development of political organizations,political relations,and political governors in the investigated area in the context of the Party’s ethnic policy.From an economic perspective,the changes in the agricultural economy,commercial trade,and poor areas are shown.Through a longitudinal comparative analysis,the changes in culture,education,health care,marriage,family,and customs in this region are shown.The article analyzes the causes of the social changes of the Zhuang people in Shuangqiao Township and summarizes the experiences of the social changes in this area,taking into account the specific circumstances of the changes in various aspects of the society in the investigated area.The article shows the changes of Zhuang society under the guidance of the Party’s ethnic policy by means of field research and comparative study,and understands the significance of the national ethnic policy to the development and changes of ethnic areas.Through a case study of social change in ethnic minority areas,it is attempted to explore the interaction between ethnic policies and ethnic social changes,as well as the interaction between the state and society in such a scenario as ethnic minority rural areas,and some thinking is made on the issue of ethnic policies and social changes.
