Research On The Ethnic Identity Of Gangbian Zhuang In Guizhou

Based on the Zhuang of Gangbian,this paper discusses the identification of the Zhuang ethnic group of Gangbian in Guizhou.Through field work,theoretical analysis and other means,this paper studies the ethnic identity of the Zhuang in Guizhou Province from the perspective of "Center ang Edge Theory",and discusses the forming reason and appearance of the ethnic identity of the Zhuang in Guizhou Province.The reasons for the formation of the ethnic identity of the Zhuang in Guizhou are complex.The emotional basis for the formation of common historical memory maintain the emotional ties of ethnic group members.Ethnic memory has become a powerful force for cohesion of the internal community of ethnic groups,while it also strengthens ethnic identity and ethnic boundaries;the stable relationship and sense of belonging are brought by the common livelihood type.On the basis of the common livelihood type,the Zhuang people in the Gangbian region have formed a geographical group based on blood relationship,and urged the emergence and development of ethnic identity.The cultural psychological field formed by common culture enable the ethnic identity of the Zhuang people in Gangbian to be inherited and strengthened,and to be adjusted according to the changing conditions of time and space.The above three aspects jointly promote the formation and development of the Zhuang in Gangbian,Guizhou Province,which is represented by a series of folk culture inheritance,persistence and development.At the same time,the folk culture reflects the "border awareness" and "ethnic identity" of the Zhuang in the process of inheritance and development.The author believes that the identity of the Zhuang in the Gangbian area of Guizhou Province reflects a multi-level "edge center" relationship.The ethnic identity adapts constantly in the edge,which is shown by the acceptance of the culturalenvironment around the ethnic group and the adjustment of its own ethnic culture.In addition,in the process of the development of ethnic identity,the center is constantly established,which is manifested in the mutual assistance of ethnic elements in the process of outward radiation and the return behavior of returning to ethnic groups.In the multi-level "edge center" relationship,the Gangbian Zhuang constantly adapts to the role of "edge",compromises and tolerates in culture and living habits.At the same time,it also strives to build a "center" position,giving full play to the advantages of attaching importance to the Zhuang and "cohesion" in ethnic culture.In this process,the center of "ethnic identity" of Guizhou Zhuang in the "edge center" relationship is naturally constructed,which becomes the "geo-core cohesion" of the whole ethnic group.The process of the establishment of the ethnic identity of the Zhuang in Gangbian is characterized by the "differential pattern" from individual to group,which is manifested in the diffusion of ethnic identity from the "small group" at the core of ethnic group to the "big environment" outside ethnic group.In order to strengthen the identity and cohesion of ethnic groups,the "Differential Mode of Association" highlights the homogeneity of ethnic groups.
