A Study Of The Women Soldiers Of The Northeast Resistance Group

In 1931,the northeast of China was attacked by the Japanese imperialists,and the people of the northeast were subjected to oppression and brutality,especially as the war pushed women into the abyss of misery.The atrocities committed by the Japanese imperialists galvanised the will of Chinese women for national liberation from the outside,and the immense national indignation and patriotic sentiments inspired a national awakening among women.In the hour of national peril,they gradually transformed from victims of war to combatants,demonstrating the courage of "women who are not afraid of men" and taking the initiative to join the ranks of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Alliance,gradually becoming a force to be reckoned with in the ranks of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Alliance.In promoting national liberation,women also contributed to their own liberation.This article takes the history of the period 1931-1945 as the background and takes the group of women soldiers of the Northeast Anti-Japanese League as the object of study.Through the analysis of the social background of the area in which the women soldiers of the Northeast Resistance were living before joining the army,their family origins,their own experiences and their educational background,a number of factors intertwined to make them change their mindset and resolutely choose to become a female soldier of the Northeast Resistance and join the stream of anti-Japanese and national salvation.They played an important role in the armed struggle,logistical services,propaganda and morale,and maximised their potential and motivation in saving the country.Finally,through an analysis of the important role played by the women of the Northeast Resistance in the war effort,it is possible to draw out the spiritual qualities of the women of the Northeast Resistance and the impact they had on themselves and the women’s movement that followed.The harsh natural environment of the Northeast was a great challenge to women,both physically and psychologically.Compared to women soldiers in other bases,the women of the Northeast Resistance had to overcome more difficulties,demanded more of themselves and endured more hardships than ordinary people could imagine.However,the harsh conditions did not deter the women soldiers,but rather inspired them to struggle hard,be firm in their convictions and be loyal to the revolution.As well as rallying and strengthening the forces of resistance,it also created the conditions for women to gradually break through the confines of feudal thinking and gradually participate in social affairs.By grasping the role of women in the war of resistance and the way forward for women’s emancipation,we can provide reference and experience for Chinese women to play their role in the socialist revolution,construction and their own continuous emancipation.
