Study On The Mental Health Service System Of The Elderly Living Alone In Shanghai

Shanghai was the first city in my country to enter an aging society.Increasing aging has brought many problems.The elderly not only face physical health problems such as aging,decline in physical fitness,and increased diseases,but also face problems such as decreased perception and memory loss,which make the elderly more prone to mental illness.The "14th Five-Year Plan" outline points out that it is necessary to improve the care and service system for the elderly and value their mental health.The mental health of the elderly living alone is worrying.The feelings of loneliness,failure and depression caused by living alone affect the life and health of the elderly living alone.The society is also paying more attention to the development of mental health services for the elderly living alone.The thesis focuses on the elderly living alone and analyzes the development of their mental health service.The thesis is based on the theory of social support theory,welfare pluralism theory,community care theory,and demand-related theories.First,analyze the development status of the mental health service for the elderly living alone from four aspects: policies and laws,capital investment,platform construction and overall development trends,and summarize the practical characteristics of mental health services in Shanghai.Then summarize the practical characteristics of Shanghai mental health services.Secondly,based on literature review and data collection,a questionnaire was designed to survey the elderly living alone in Shanghai.The mental health service needs of the elderly living alone are measured from six levels:developmental service needs,monitoring service needs,medical service needs,personnel quality needs,service organization needs,and service effect needs.Furthermore,use regression analysis to study the impact of demographic sociological factors and mental health services on the mental health of elderly living alone;use single factor analysis and regression analysis to study the influencing factors of mental health service demand for elderly living alone;use ISM to explain structural model research The restrictive factors of the development of the mental health service system and their internal relations.Finally,combined with domestic and foreign practical experience,the optimal design and countermeasures of the mental health service system for the elderly living alone are proposed.Research has concluded that elderly people living alone have a greater demand for developmental services,the quality of service personnel,and service effects.Theri demand is influenced by age,physical condition,mental health.Their mental health is influenced by family economic level,age and physical condition.Publicizing mental health knowledge and providing psychological counseling services have a positive influence on the mental health of the elderly living alone.The root factor in the constraints of mental health services is policy.To enhance the mental health of the elderly living alone in Shanghai,it is necessary to strengthen publicity and education to enhance the psychological self-help ability of the elderly living alone,Accurately grasp the needs of elderly people living alone,family and communities work together to promote their mental health,improve the policy and institutional design.The thesis analyzes the mental health status of the elderly living alone in Shanghai,the supply and demand status of related mental health services,and the factors affecting the service.These have important practical significance for the future development of mental health service implementation plans,scientific mental health services for the elderly living alone,and establishment of a service evaluation system.They have contributed to the promotion of the mental health service system for the elderly living alone in Shanghai.
