A Study On The Strategy Of Social Workers Participating In Community Mobilization

In the new era,community mobilization has become an important means of innovating grassroots social governance in China.In order to fully realize community autonomy,a large number of mobilization attempts and explorations have been carried out in different places.With the gradual development of social work and the “failure” of the traditional community mobilization model,social workers,as important participants in community building in China,have certain necessity to participate in community mobilization.At the same time,the government’s empowerment,the trust of residents and the professional advantages of social workers themselves have greatly enhanced the feasibility of social workers participating in community mobilization.In this context,it is of great practical significance to explore social work as a facilitator to help community mobilization and promote the realization of community mobilization goals,so as to achieve community problem solving and resident capacity development.Foshan N District vigorously explores and establishes a new characteristic social mobilization system in the whole district,trying to stimulate community participation vitality through multi-subject strength,cultivate public participation awareness,and promote community building.Social workers play a key role in this exploration practice.Great space to play.Taking the N district of Foshan as an example,this paper uses the literature analysis method,interview method and participatory observation method to conduct in-depth research on social workers’ participation in community mobilization practice.At present,the mobilization of community in N District of Foshan City faces some difficulties: the residents’ awareness of the main body is weak,the mobilization attention is not high;the understanding and positioning of the community mobilization is unclear;the mobilization of technology is single,the overall participation of the community is insufficient;the lack of mobilization of the supporting work system,Insufficient sustainable motivation;the role of the mobilized action subject is unclear,and the division of labor is unclear.In order to solve these problems,this paper focuses on the mobilization practice of an urban community and a rural community,and explores the role of social workers in community mobilization and effective strategies for participating in community mobilization.The study concludes that social workers should accurately grasp the different focus points of urban and rural community mobilization.Urban communities should focus on expanding public participation space and concentrating on group strength.Rural communities should focus on nurturing and developing rural culture self-organization;social workers should Multiple roles in community mobilization,including community researchers,resource miners and linkers,capacity builders,and platform builders;social workers should follow the following basic path in community mobilization: clearly mobilize core subjects and optimize mobilization collaboration;Demand-oriented,select appropriate mobilization entry points;promote residents’ participation,shape an active and active mobilization environment;tap community internal assets,develop community endogenous motivation;build community mobilization mechanism to ensure mobilization of sustainable development.
