Research On Cheerleading All Girl Premier’s Pyramid Movement Of 2017-2019 World Cheerleading Championship

Cheerleading is a high-risk sport with strong ornamental value and entertainment.But in audience’s sight,it has plenty of punch and visual impact which has been pursued by people.Cheerleading is competed by different groups in race,such as mixed elite group,mixed high-class group,all girl premier and other groups.As one of groups,all girl premier has its own uniqueness.Pyramid movement is a symbol to show team’s ability.Through the research on cheerleading all girl premier’s pyramid movement of 2017-2019 World Cheerleading Championship,it provides effective references for our country’s cheerleading movements’ layout and cheerleading’s development.Through documentation method,video analysis method,professor interview,questionaire survey on excellent coaches and athletes,this article has a research on excellent teams’ pyramid movements of cheerleading all girl premier,on one side to have a comprehensive understanding of foreign all girl premier pyramid movement’s difficulties,on the other side to provide references for our country’s coaches in layout and training.The research conclusions are as follows:1.In three World Cheerleading Championships,all girl premier pyramid movement takes about one third in the whole set of movement,is assigned in latter part of the whole set of movement;the increase of number at pyramid top is inversely proportional to the decrease of groups’ number,which was obvious from 2018 to2019;Most teams chose normal 1-1-1 and 2-2-1 for pyramid movement types,1-1-2of higher difficulty was less chosen.2.Total number of pyramid upward movements tends to increase,from 38 to 48.Stretched upward movements and tumble upward movements were used most.Upright stretched movement in stretched movements and back tuck,handspring,back handspring in tumble upward movements were first choices.Champion and second-place teams rarely chose rotation upward movements.Through horizontal comparison,the first three teams’ upward movements’ difficulty was higher than teams in worst places.Most teams chose stable Pyramid downward movements:upright downward movement and picked front somersault downward movement;The average number of pyramid transition movements has increased from 2.57 to 4.22 times,in which the number of upright transition movements increased most obviously.It could be concluded that all teams’ pyramid movement layout develops to more complexity and diversity.3.The number of teams which have failure in pyramid movements in three World Cheerleading Championships is increasing year after year,from two in 2017 to 6 in2019.This has something to do with the increase of difficulty.The failure rate of teams in top rank was lower than the general average failure rate;All teams attach more importance to completion quality of pyramid movements.Average rate of desynchrony is gradually falling,in which the falling range from 2018 to 2019 is most obvious.Through an overall comparison of completion quality,the completion quality of teams in top rank is better,the completion quality of pyramid movements has an impact on competition results.
