Study On The Body Characteristics Of Chinese Elite Men’s Physique Athletes

Research purpose: Men’s Physique events referees judge the athletes’ innate skeletons,muscle shapes,and body proportions according to the evaluation rules.Because the evaluation process is subjective scoring by the referees,many athletes do not consider the high-level Men’s Physique standards Thorough,lack of objective quantification standards,so there is no target in training and other aspects,lack of clear goals.This article starts with objectively quantified body shape indicators and uses the body shape characteristics of outstanding Chinese Men’s Physique as research objects to study the body shape data of the top ten athletes in the six groups of the 2019 National Fitness Championships.Significance of research: Using a series of means such as data statistics,analysis,and comparison,to summarize the physical shape characteristics of outstanding Chinese Men’s Physique athletes,and then provide theoretical basis and practice for the selection,training,preparation and competition of future Men’s Physique athletes.reference.Research methods: Literature data method,anthropometric method,mathematical statistics method,comparative analysis method,and expert interview method are used for research.Research conclusions:(1)Outstanding Men’s Physique athletes in China have higher performance values in each group,especially the indicators of upper limb length and lower limb length are larger in their group,the better the performance.(2)The waist circumference of the champion athletes in each group is significantly smaller in their groups.The larger the bust,shoulder and hip indicators in the group,the better the competition results.(3)The body fat percentage of the champion athletes in each group is controlled within 4%,and the body fat percentage of the upper back is within 8%.(4)Among the various body proportion characteristics indicators of outstanding Men’s Physique athletes in China,the ratios of upper limb length / lower limb length,shoulder circumference / bust circumference,shoulder circumference / waist circumference are closest to the golden section value of 1.618,and the ratio values of other parts are relatively distance from the golden section value.Farther,especially the ratio of thigh / arm circumference is the most lacking.
