A Study On The Influence Of Taekwondo Rules Changes On The Technical Application Of Men’s 68kg Level Athletes

Starting from the changes of the rules of Taekwondo competition in 2017,this paper analyzes the video data of the 68kg19 men’s competitions in the 2015 Lopez Taekwondo World Championships and the 68kg19 men’s competitions in the 2017 South Korean Taekwondo World Championships.By using the methods of literature,video observation and mathematical statistics,this paper discusses the influence of the changes of rules on the current technology Ring,to provide a theoretical basis for coaches and athletes to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games,from the perspective of rule modification to analyze and explore the trend and direction of Taekwondo technology application,improve the rationality of athletes in the use of competition technology,extend the future changes of Taekwondo leg techniques,so as to improve the performance of athletes.The conclusion is as follows:(1)The new rules are mainly revised in four aspects: foul judgment,legal behavior,advantage judgment and score.The change of rules increases the number of hand over rounds,accelerates the pace of competition,and improves the antagonism,appreciation and intensity of competition.(2)After the modification of the rules,the most frequently used techniques are cross kick,side kick and down chop.The use of straight fist increased significantly,while the use of double fly and back kick decreased more.The techniques with the most scores are cross kick,side kick and down chop.The scores of straight fist technique increase greatly,but the total scores of back kick,double fly and whirlwind kick decrease obviously.(3)The number of times and scores of high-level technology after the modification of the rules show a downward trend.The down splitting technique still keeps a high utilization rate,and the high score accounts for 50.6%.The athletes tend to use simple,direct and stable positive technology in the competition,which leads to the decrease of the utilization rate and success rate of rotation technology.(4)After the change of rules,the number of application of combined technology increased from 446 to 532,and the score increased from 127 to 218.In the continuous combination,there are many combinations around the cross kick technique,but affected by the change of rules,the single leg combo with height change is limited,and the number of use and score decrease obviously.(5)Canceling the warning,the new rules of foul,i.e.point deduction,have greatly improved the score of foul in the current competition.The score of foul accounts for 26.9% of the total score,which has a certain impact on the technical application of athletes,and even changed the outcome of the competition in some competitions.The technical standard of straight boxing is relaxed,and the Fouls of pulling,grasping and cuddling become the focus of referees.
