An Empirical Study Of Research Hotpots Of Winter Olympic Games Based On Network Resources

Since successfully securing the bid of hosting 2022 Winter Olympic Games,China has been promoting the winter sports and boosting winter sport industry.At this moment,the ongoing preparation of the Games demands huge number of excellent researches,which has led to the rapidly increasing number of researches on Winter Olympic Games.Thus,based on the Social Network Analysis(SNA),this study aims to find out the research hotspot and frontiers to guide the scientific conduction of the researches in this field with the tool of Cite Space,This study,first of all,tries to find some critical research keywords with the help of Co-occurrence Matrixa and Map under the SNA;then,find out the research hotspots by cluster analysis;finally,figure out the changing trend of the research hotspots and the research frontiers with Bursty detection.In addition,this study will discuss the Winter Olympic Games critical research keywords and hotspots under the background of the features,reforms and development of the Olympic Movement so that it can find out the reasons for the rising research topics in this filed.The research result shows,the critical research keywords in Winter Olympic Games studies are sustainability-Olympic legacy,female-gender,tourism and tourism development;the hotspots are sustainable development,youth sport,gender differences in media report and social media.Besides,this study also finds that,the critical research keywords and hotpots in Winter Olympic Games studies bear strong resemblance to the features of the Olympic Movement,like the periodicity;on the other hand,the rising research topic have a strong connection with the reforms and development of the Olympic Movement.Least but not least,the research hotspot and frontiers have been changing around the theme of economy,sustainability and human.
