Purpose: This research explore the effect of blood flow restriction,plyometric exercises and the combination of the two on post-activation potentiation of jump ability and its time characteristics.Methods: 36 male college students majoring in sports from Beijing Sport University were randomly divided into Control group(c),blood flow restriction group(BFR),plyometric group(Plyo)and BFR+Plyo group.The C group just warming up.BFR group,did 5 minutes of BFR and sit.Plyo group,performed 2 groups of 10 straight leg jumps,3 groups of 5 hurdle jump(height 50cm)and 5 deep jump exercises(height 50cm),completed a total of 40 jumps.BFR+Plyo group was BFR and 40 jumps after warming up,after 4,8,12 and 16 minutes of intervention,the kinematics and dynamics parameters of the counter movement jump(CMJ),the squat jump(SJ)and the drop jump(DJ)were measured,including the height,the standardization rate of force development(RFD),the standardization peak power output(PPO)and rate of force development(RFD),72 h between each test,through repeated-measures two-way ANOVA,post hoc analysis use LSD to determine data changes at different intermittent time points in the group,and to test whether there is an interaction between the factors(intervention method)and the factors(recovery time)within the group Effect,and then further compare data at the same recovery time point between groups.Results: BFR+Plyo group,the CMJ(height,RFD)and SJ(height,PPO)increased significantly higher than that of pre at 4 minutes(P<0.05),and the CMJ,SJ height increased significantly than that of pre at 8 minutes(P<0.05);Plyo group,the CMJ(height,RFD)and SJ(height,PPO)increased significantly than that of pre at 4min(P<0.05).BFR+Plyo group,the CMJ and SJ height were significantly higher than the BFR group(P<0.05),and the CMJ(height,RFD),SJ(height,PPO)and RSI were significantly higher than the C group at 4minutes(P<0.05),and the SJ height was significantly higher than that of the C group at 8 minutes(P<0.05);Plyo group,the CMJ height was significantly higher than the BFR group(P<0.05),and the CMJ height and SJ(height,PPO)were significantly higher than the C group at 4 minutes(P <0.05).Conclusion: BFR exercise can not induce the post-activation potentiation,Plyometric exercise and BFR+Plyo exercise can induce the post-activation potentiation,which is manifested in the improvement of CMJ,SJ height and dynamic indexes(RFD,PPO and RSI);the best post-activation potentiation recovery time of plyometric exercise is 4 minutes,BFR+Plyo exercise is4,8 minutes;the post-activation potentiation effect of BFR+Plyo exercise is better than plyometric exercise and BFR exercise alone,and the post-activation potentiation effect is longer.
