| With the "Professional Standards for Kindergarten Teachers(Trial)" promulgated in 2012 and the "Ten Guidelines for Professional Behavior of Kindergarten Teachers in the New Era"proposed in 2018,kindergarten teachers have attracted much attention,and the public has also paid more attention to the impact of male teachers on young children.Many male teachers entered the kindergarten and became male preschool teachers.Nevertheless,the gender structure of the kindergarten teachers was still seriously unbalanced and the male and female teachers continued to drain.The professional adaptation of male preschool teachers not only affects their willingness to continue teaching,but also determines their future career development,but also relates to the overall and harmonious development of the entire preschool education career.It can be seen that it is imperative to strengthen the induction education for male preschool teachers,optimize the kindergarten teachers,and lay a high-quality teacher base for preschool children to receive a good education.However,the current research involving male preschool teachers is more related to their survival problems and their importance to the development of preschool children,but there are few research results related to how to promote their occupational adaptation.In this study,the paradigm of educational narrative research focuses on the educational life of a newly recruited male preschool teacher in the stage of occupational adaptation,narrates his feelings of adaptation in kindergarten and traces the changes in deeper mental process.Process,the rich and authentic first-hand information obtained by follow-up observation and interviews in W kindergarten was organized to form 15 narrative story texts and 6 observation records,analyze the teachers ’occupational adaptation problems and influencing factors,and draw the following conclusions:(1)W kindergarten A teachers’ career adaptation has the characteristics of gradual,periodic and uncoordinated;(2)W kindergarten A teachers have problems in occupational ability adaptation,occupational psychological adaptation and occupational interpersonal relationship adaptation;(3)teachers themselves The professional knowledge and ability,role conversion ability,communication ability,kindergarten management model,post-employment training,traditional aspects of society and social status are the main reasons for the difficulty of W kindergarten teacher’s occupational adaptation.Based on the above conclusions,it is recommended(1)the teacher’s own level:establish good interpersonal relationships;formulate a reasonable career plan;firm belief.(2)Kindergarten level:create a good garden atmosphere;improve the effective post-job training system for male teachers;actively recruit male preschool teachers.(3)Social level:Create a positive atmosphere of public opinion and enhance the professional appeal of male preschool teachers;break down occupational gender segregation from top to bottom. |
