Research On Occupational Burnout Of Full-time Counselors In Higher Vocational Colleges

Full-time counselors in higher vocational colleges have always been the high incidence group of job burnout because of their complicated work content,high work intensity and high work pressure.The occurrence of job burnout will lead to the decrease of counselors’ enthusiasm and working ability,thus affecting the quality of work.In recent years,with the rapid development of Higher Vocational Colleges and the advancement of education reform in China,higher requirements have been put forward for the working ability of full-time counselors.How to effectively solve the problem of job burnout has also become an important aspect of improving the quality of Higher Vocational education.In this process,we should also carry out an objective investigation and Analysis on the causes of professional burnout of full-time counselors in Higher Vocational colleges.In view of the causes of professional burnout of full-time counselors in Higher Vocational colleges,we should take corresponding countermeasures to prevent and eliminate professional burnout of full-time counselors in Higher Vocational colleges.Good results were obtained.Taking L Vocational College as an example,this paper studies the burnout of full-time counselors in Vocational colleges.Firstly,the research background,research status at home and abroad,research methods and research significance of this topic are elaborated.Then it elaborates the related concepts and theories of job burnout,which lays a theoretical foundation for this study.Through the form of questionnaire survey,we know the current situation and causes of professional burnout of full-time counselors in L Vocational College.Finally,according to the survey results,combined with the work characteristics and actual situation of full-time counselors in Higher Vocational colleges,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.Through the investigation,it is found that full-time counselors in L Vocational College generally have different degrees of job burnout.The prominent manifestations are that their daily work enthusiasm is not high,their self-satisfaction is not high,and their career development expectations are not high,etc.The causes ofcounselors’ job burnout are also manifested in many aspects,including personal factors,organizational factors and social factors.Therefore,in terms of solving measures,we should also take corresponding countermeasures against these causes.
