| School is a place for students to study and live. And the interpersonal relationship is necessary for the learning and life of students. So peer relationship is quite important in school.Peer relationship refers to the relationship between children of the same age.It mainly refers to a kind of interpersonal relationship established and developed by individuals of the same age or with the same level of psychological development in the process of cooperation and communication.Previous studies have shown that good peer relationship is conducive to students’ development and social adaptation. However, the senior primary school students in the early puberty often show great emotional fluctuation and lack of psychological adjustment ability in the process of peer communication.Compared with the urban students, the rural students are in shortage of entertainment and time,so the peer relationship in the school is very important for them as a kind of social communication. Therefore,if this kind of peer relationship is handled improperly,it will hinder its future development and social adaptation. In the field of education, there are few studies on the peer relationship of senior primary school students in rural areas, and most of the studies focus on the peer relationship between left-behind children and junior high school students. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of peer relationship among senior students in rural primary schools, and to put forward feasible suggestions for the problems found in the previous studies. So as to provide a programme to improve students’ peer relationship of the senior years in rural primary schools. This paper takes the senior students of rural primary schools as the research object, exploring the current situation of peer relationship among senior primary school students in rural primary schools. The study is divided into two parts: the first part apply to the questionnaire method.Firstly,a total of 700 questionnaires are sent out,and then 684 valid questionnaires are collected,The second part adopts the experimental method. There are 30 students with poor peer relationship were divided into experimental group and control group.Eight peer relationship group counseling activities were carried out in the experimental group, but no treatment was done in the control group. The purpose of this study was to expound the effectiveness of group counseling in improving the peer relationship of senior primary school students in rural areas.Through this study, the following conclusions of the study are drawn :1.At present, the senior students in rural primary schools tend to have a poor peer relationship.2.There are differences in gender, grade and place of origin in the peer relationship of senior primary school students in rural areas, but there is no difference in the situation whether they are only children or not.3.After group counseling, the score of peer relationship in the experimental group was badly lower than that before the experiment, but there was no significant change in the control group. This shows that group counseling can be used as an effective way to improve peer relationship.According to the conclusions of the study,I would like to put forward the following three suggestions.Firstly, family education should strengthen the attention and guidance of students’ peer relationship.Secondly, school education should play a leading role in improving students’ peer relationship.Thirdly, students should improve peer communication strategies. |
