Curriculum reforms that began in 2001 have caused textbook reforms.The 21 st century is a period of knowledge explosion,and it also puts forward new requirements for teaching materials,which need to teach students to learn.However,as the requirements for teaching quality increase,it remains to be seen whether the corresponding textbooks meet this requirement.Exercises are an important part of the textbook.Understanding the characteristics of the textbook exercises can provide corresponding opinions for the compilation of the textbook and also provide clear and clear directions for the goals that the teacher should achieve.In order to understand the characteristics of the compilation of textbook exercises,this study uses the literature method and content analysis method to analyze the textbook exercises of the fourth to sixth grade primary school mathematics of the People’s Education Edition.On the basis of Bloom’s Cognitive Objective Taxonomy(Revised Edition),combined with the characteristics of mathematics,the classification of knowledge types remains unchanged,and the cognitive process dimension is adapted to change 6 cognitive processes into 4 To make it more in line with the expression of exercises in mathematics.The standard expression of teaching objectives in Bloom’s target taxonomy(revised edition)is in the form of cognitive process(verb)+ knowledge type(noun),but some exercises in the expression of math problems are not standard forms.Therefore,when dividing the objectives of exercises,the expression form of exercises is divided into two-dimensional exercises and single-dimensional exercises.When analyzing two-dimensional exercises,the exercise verbs correspond to the adapted four levels,and the knowledge types correspond to the knowledge points of the teaching content of the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education.When analyzing single-dimension exercises,the expression forms in math problems are classified into their cognitive level,and the types of knowledge still refer to the teaching content part of "Mathematical Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education".Through the survey results,it is found that the exercises of grades 4-6 generally show the following characteristics: first,first,the focus of the primary school mathematics textbook exercises on the People’s Education Edition;second,the same emphasis on the investigation of knowledge types;third,the performance of the exercisesThe level of cognition has obvious changes with the rise of grades.Fourth,the degree of variation of exercises is not high.According to the conclusion,suggestions are made on the compilation of textbook exercises and teacher teaching.The suggestions for the compilation of textbook exercises are: attach importance to and increase the investigation of meta-cognitive knowledge;appropriately increase the number of high-level thinking exercises;compile exercises according to the characteristics of students’ age.Suggestions for teachers’ teaching are: choose teaching strategies according to the type of knowledge;create an environment for students to develop a high cognitive level;and arrange exercises with corresponding cognitive levels according to students’ abilities.
