Research On Programmer Overwork From The Perspective Of Labor Process And Its Implications For Social Work Intervention ——A Case Study Of A Internet Company

Since the 21 st century,the rapid development of the Internet industry has made People’s Daily life greatly convenient and satisfying.However,the news of "death by overwork" of Internet practitioners has been frequently exposed,and the problem of overwork has drawn wide attention from all walks of life.Programmer group as the main force of Internet industry practitioners,its overwork problem is more serious.Taking A Internet company o as an example,the author makes an in-depth study on the problem of overwork of programmer group and its causes.Compared with other research,this paper takes the programmer’s labor process as the main content of study,based on the theory of the Marxist theory of labor process,discussed the programmer overwork problems behind,by how the management control,and programmers have made what kind of response and adjustment,hope in the aspects of social work intervention to give certain enlightenment,alleviate or solve the problem of programmers overwork.On the research methods,this paper adopt the method of combining quantitative and qualitative research,first of all A Internet company programmers characteristics of population and the labor situation has carried on the questionnaire survey,describes the strain in A Internet company,and into the workplace,with the method of participant observation and in-depth interviews for more in-depth research on this issue.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background,research significance,research methods and research routes,and makes a detailed review of the definition of overwork,literature research and the theories used in this paper.The second chapter introduces in detail the field of this research and the overall characteristics of the research group.The third chapter discusses in detail the control of the programmer group by the capital and determines the capital’s main responsibility for the problem of overwork.Chapter 4 and chapter 5 respectively discuss the influence of overwork on programmers and their adaptation.In the sixth chapter,the author puts forward some Suggestions on social work intervention based on the research results,hoping to give some enlightenment to professional development and relieve overwork.In chapter 7,the author summarizes and reflects on the shortcomings of this research.
