Young children are the future and hope of our country,early childhood education as the earliest education in children’s life,has a pivotal role.This period should cultivate children’s interest in participating in sports activities,and promote children’s physical and mental development through learning basic movements.However,the problems of "primary school" and "early specialization" appear in early childhood education nowadays,which is basically that the physical education teachers do not follow the rules of children’s physical and mental development when carrying out physical activities,which will have a certain impact on children’s physical and mental development.In 2019,our country first announced the national football characteristic kindergarten,but lacks the corresponding young child football.This paper takes the selection and compilation of the teaching contents of children’s football activities at 3-6 years old as the research object,through selecting and compiling the teaching contents of children’s football activities,filling and enriching the contents of children’s football activities,promoting parents and preschool physical education teachers’ understanding of children’s football activities,promoting the all-round development of children’s body and mind,and providing a certain theoretical basis for the construction of children’s sports activities.This study adopts the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire,field investigation,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics to study the selection and compilation of teaching contents of football activities for children aged 3-6 years,and draws the following conclusions:(1)According to the investigation,the following problems and difficulties exist in the implementation of the children’s football activities in Yuexiu District: the number of young children’s physical education teachers is relatively small,and the number of women is more,and the lack of professional knowledge can not grasp the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development and teaching rules;lack of corresponding teaching materials support;venues and equipment can not meet the needs of children’s activities and other phenomena,after analysis,the design ofchildren’s football activities teaching content is a more direct and effective way to solve the problem.(2)Based on the theories of pedagogy,psychology and physical education,this study selected the teaching contents of football activities suitable for young children,and arranged the teaching contents.(3)Through the experimental analysis after the implementation of the teaching contents of football activities for children aged 5-6 years in three months,the physical quality and football skills of young children have been improved and improved relatively significantly in the whole,and there has also been obvious progress in the performance of the activities in the classroom,which has enhanced the participation interest of young children in football activities and promoted the overall physical and mental development of young children.
