| Objective:Based on the theory of self-determination,this study explores the influence of different types of teaching methods on students’extracurricular exercise behavior by using students’participation motivation as the intermediary variable, and improves the prediction ability of students’extracurricular exercise behavior, which is helpful for PE teachers to adopt appropriate teaching methods and promote teaching and learning in the teaching process.Methods:500 sophomores from Guangdong Vocational College of Ecological Engineering(244 boys and 256 girls)were tested with relevant scales(Teacher as Social Context Questionnaire,Psychological Control Scale-Youth Self-Report,Perceived Locus of Causality Scale and Godin Leisure Sports Questionnaire Scoring Method),and the reliability, validity and correlation analysis of the four scales were carried out with SPSS 22.0 and other software Amos 24.0 and other software build"after-class exercise behavior structure model",and calculate the fitting degree of after-class exercise behavior structure model. Results:Cronbachαwas 0.69-0.96,which had good reliability.According to the correlation analysis, the self-supporting teaching mode can positively predict the students’participation motivation in Physical Education(P=.00<0.01),and the psychological control teaching mode can negatively predict the students’participation motivation in physical education;the self-supporting teaching mode has a negative correlation with the psychological control teaching mode;the self-supporting teaching mode, the psychological control teaching mode and the after-school exercise There was no significant correlation(P>0.05)between P.E.participation motivation and extracurricular exercise behavior(P=.00<0.01).Therefore,self-supporting teaching and psychological control teaching indirectly affected students’extracurricular exercise behavior by taking P.E.participation motivation as intermediary variable. All the data were fitted into the model, and the structural equation modeling of the influence of PE Teachers’teaching methods on students’extracurricular exercise behavior reached the fitting standard(X~2/DF=2.749,<5,RMSEA=0.059,<0.08,CFI,NFI,IFI 3 indicators are greater than 0.90).Conclusion:the teaching methods of PE teachers can affect the students’after-school exercise behavior through the intermediary variables that affect their motivation to participate in PE class. The self-supporting teaching method can promote the generation of students’high-level self-determination motivation. There is a significant positive correlation between self-determination theoretical motivation and physical exercise behavior. The self-determination exercise motivation can stimulate students to generate their own after-class exercise behavior. The psychological control teaching method can reduce the level of students’self-determination motivation, making students reduce their after-school exercise behavior, which is unfavorable To improve the physical quality of students. In addition, among the male vocational college students, the most powerful negative prediction is the prediction of external adjustment;among the female vocational college students, the most powerful negative prediction is the self-supporting teaching. |
