| In recent years,with the continuous advancement of the enrollment expansion policy and the continuous improvement of the enrollment plan,the professional choices faced by college students are also diversified and complicated.This paper takes the undergraduates of five universities in Wuhan with different levels and key development directions as the main research object,takes Bourdieu’s theory of cultural capital as the theoretical basis of this paper,combines the existing research literature on the influence of Undergraduates’ professional choice,and makes an empirical investigation by compiling questionnaires and interview outlines.The main content is to investigate the cultural capital of different families.In this context,college students’ professional choice behavior is analyzed.The results show that the three forms of family cultural capital can be transformed mutually,and there is a significant positive correlation between family cultural capital and college students’ professional choice behavior in general.Institutionalized and physical cultural capital attached to family members has a higher correlation with college students’ professional choice behavior than objectified family cultural capital independent of themselves.The external factors that influence college students’ professional choice behavior are more the shaping of family cultural capital.The correlation degree from high to low is information mastery,risk perception,professional interest,personality traits and self-perception,respectively.The existing mode of professional choice has led to the deprivation of students’ subjectivity and therestriction of their freedom of choice when they make professional choices,thus resulting in the overall low degree of satisfaction with their major.The causes of these problems are not only the imbalance of macro-control in the professional system of the educational administration department,but also the excessive mechanical operation of the universities and the irrational guidance of family members.Among them,the main reason for family cultural capital level is that in the case of the overall low occupancy of family cultural capital,some students’ family members play a decisive role in students’ professional choice,the lack of family cultural capital leads to inadequate understanding of relevant professional information,and the inadequacy of family cultural capital leads to difficulties in students’ learning adaptability.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward a feasible strategy to optimize college students’ professional choices,that is,the basic condition is to realize the value-added of family cultural capital,through adequate information collection,on the premise of respecting students’ choice subjectivity,carry out adaptive education to guide students to make reasonable professional choices.The purpose of this paper is to provide some references for students to make more rational choices in the family-led context,aiming at improving the quality of students’ professional choices,and then improving the quality of education in Colleges and universities. |
