In the era of knowledge-based economy, talents have become the core competitiveness of countries and nations in the world;and as a major place to cultivate and deliver talents to the society,an important criterion to measure talents is the academic achievement of college students.development.Therefore,improving the academic achievement of college students and exploring the factors influencing the academic achievement of college students have become important issues to ensure the development of the state, society, universities and individuals. In the context of urban-rural dichotomy, the lack of cultural capital in the families of rural college students has become the shackle that restricts their academic achievement in colleges and universities, but related researches also show that the resilience and self-efficacy play an important role in the academic achievement of rural college students in colleges and universities.Based on the academic literature,The main contents of the study include: first,a random sample was used to investigate the basic information, family cultural capital, resilience and self-efficacy of rural college students from freshman to senior years in four universities of different levels and types in Changchun City,Jilin Province. The data were distributed to undergraduate students in Jilin University,Northeast Normal University,Jilin University of Architecture and Jilin University of Foreign Studies in Changchun,Jilin Province, covering comprehensive "985" engineering colleges, teacher training "211" engineering colleges, public provincial general colleges of science and technology and private provincial general colleges of language.Secondly, based on the data analysis, descriptive professional analysis, differential professional analysis, correlation analysis among variables, mediating effect test and moderated mediating effect test were conducted;finally, the following conclusions were drawn:1.The family cultural capital of college students of rural origin is generally at a moderate to low level. However,in contrast, the resilience, academic achievement and self-efficacy of rural college students are moderately high in general.2.There were significant differences in the family cultural capital of rural college students in terms of gender, whether they were only one child, their grade, type of college, student leader status, and family income.3.The level of resilience of rural college students differed significantly in terms of whether or not they were an only child and their grade level.4.There were significant differences in the academic achievement of rural college students in terms of gender, whether they were only students or not, their grade, type of college, student leaders, and family income.5.There were significant differences in the self-efficacy of rural college students at the level of gender, being an only child, grade level, being a student leader, major category, and family income.6.The four variables of family cultural capital,resilience,self-efficacy,and academic achievement among rural college students were significantly correlated with each other. In other words, the higher the family cultural capital of rural college students, the higher their level of resilience;the higher the family cultural capital of rural college students, the higher their sense of self-efficacy;the higher the family cultural capital of rural college students, the higher their academic achievement;the higher the level of resilience of rural college students, the higher their sense of self-efficacy;the higher the level of resilience of rural college students, the higher their academic achievement;the higher the sense of self-efficacy of rural college students, the higher their academic achievement. The stronger the sense of efficacy, the higher the academic achievement of rural college students.7.The academic achievement of rural college students differed significantly in the levels of family cultural capital, resilience and self-efficacy.This indicates that family cultural capital, resilience and self-efficacy are important factors influencing the academic achievement of rural college students, and that family cultural capital, resilience and self-efficacy have a significant positive effect on the academic achievement of rural college students.8.The level of family cultural capital of rural college students influences their academic achievement in college, and it can also influence their academic achievement in college through the indirect effect of the level of resilience of rural college students, and this study confirms that there is a partial mediating effect of resilience of rural college students in family cultural capital and academic achievement.9.The self-efficacy of rural college students can play a moderating role in the two influential relationships of family cultural capital influencing academic achievement and resilience influencing academic achievement.Based on the above findings, this study proposes suggestions and recommendations from four aspects: the government should pay attention to the optimization of public cultural resources and strive to promote the realization of educational equity;parents should face up to the differences in family cultural capital and pay attention to the improvement of their children’s psychological quality;colleges and universities should strive to provide rich cultural resources and encourage rural college students to actively participate in their studies;rural college students should also have a comprehensive and objective understanding of their individual academic achievement. The universities should provide rich cultural resources to encourage rural college students to actively participate in their studies.
