Research On The Effect Of The Matching Degree Of Human Capital And Industrial On The Share Of Labor Income

Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has maintained rapid growth and achieved remarkable results.However,along with economic growth,the share of labor income has declined.The decline in the share of labor income is not conducive to the people’s sharing of economic growth,it is not conducive to stimulating consumption,and is not conducive to expanding domestic demand and long-term stable economic growth.Therefore,exploring the influencing factors of labor income share has an important impact on China’s economy.In the existing literature,it is generally believed that the labor income share shows a Ushaped change following the industrial structure upgrade.With further research,the impact of industrial structure on labor income share is also affected by human capital.Because whether human capital adapts to the industrial structure greatly affects the quality of industrial structure upgrade.On the one hand,the human capital that matches it in the process of industrial upgrade needs to fully utilize the utility of capital and technology;The degree of matching with the industrial structure is conducive to promoting technological progress and then promoting industrial upgrading.In view of this,from the perspective of human capital allocation,the article explores the impact of matching human capital and industrial structure on labor income shares.This paper uses the data of 30 provinces of China(except Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2005 to 2017,calculates the matching degree of human capital and industrial structure of each province by using the coupling coordination model,and regresses by using the two-step System GMM model to discuss the matching of human capital,industrial structure,human capital and industrial structure The influence of ration on the share of labor income.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the matching degree in China’s provinces is not high,and the degree of coordinated development of human capital and industrial structure in each province is different,showing the characteristics of high in the East and low in the West.(2)The transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,that is to say,the reduction of the proportion of the second industry and the increase of the proportion of the third industry are conducive to the promotion of the share of labor income;the increase of human capital does not increase the share of labor income,but reduces the share of labor income.(3)The matching degree has a negative effect on the share of labor income,and the second matching degree of human capital and industrial structure has a positive effect on the share of labor income.It shows that there is a U-relationship between the matching degree and the share of labor income,which is currently in the left half of the U-curve.In view of the above three conclusions,in order to improve the share of labor income,improve the pattern of income distribution,the paper puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the remuneration of workers,Some suggestions are put forward:promote industrial transformation and upgrading,improve the situation of human capital investment and promote the coordinated development of human capital investment and industrial structure.
