The distribution of factor income has always been an important issue concerned by labor economics.Since the 1990 s,China's share of labor income has shown a downward trend, and has picked up slightly in recent years. As early as the 1980 s,countries around the world have also seen a decline in the share of labor income.Combined with the same change trend of China's share of labor income and that of other countries around the world, from the perspective of technological progress It seems more convincing that a global common factor is in the process of explaining the changes in the share of labor income.Based on the perspective of technological progress, this paper focuses on the impact of information technology on the share of labor income, focusing on the micro effect of the impact of information technology on the share of labor income. From the micro perspective, workers can use information and communication technology to work, and work can be divided into two types: regular task and unconventional task.According to the different work content, the impact of informatization on it will also be different.Informatization can replace the routine task in the work, and unconventional task can not be replaced, while the routine task in the work is usually low skilled workers,high-tech workers Most of the jobs that can be worked are irregular tasks. Therefore, information technology and low skilled workers will form a substitution relationship, and form a complementary relationship with high skilled workers,so it will have a positive and negative impact on the share of labor income. The impact direction of information technology on the share of labor income depends on the strength between the two.Based on this analysis,we use the micro data of China industrial enterprise database from 2004 to 2007 to carry out empirical test, and find that informatization has a significant negative impact on the share of labor income, which shows that the substitution effect brought by informatization is greater than the complementary effect, and this conclusion is robust, and the two-stage least square method is used for endogenous processing by using tool variables. It can be seen from the mechanism test that the promotion of informatization needs to rely on human capital, that is,informatization can promote the improvement of labor productivity and production efficiency, and enterprises have the desire to expand production scale, while informatization and high skilled workers complement each other, and the increase of informatization investment must rely on high skilled workers;at the same time, heterogeneity analysis is carried out in different regions The accumulation degree of human capital owned by different industries and enterprises will affect the effect of informatization on the share of labor income. To sum up,the study also gives some policy implications: in promoting the development of information technology, the government should play a positive role, improve the redistribution system, and improve the disadvantageous position of labor in the initial distribution of factors;secondly, low skilled workers are groups greatly impacted by technological progress, and the government can improve the social security system through employment assistance and skills training, etc Its competitiveness in the labor market,so as to improve the inferior position of low skilled workers in the distribution and narrow the income gap of a country;finally,we should improve the personnel training mechanism, from the long-term perspective of a country,we need to improve the level of education of the people, provide human capital reserve for the development of information technology, and provide fresh and powerful blood for the construction of a socialist modernization power?...
