“Centennial plan,education-oriented;education plan,teacher-oriented”.Facing the coming of the AI era,can the core quality of primary school teachers,as the foundation of education,meet the needs of education and teaching?What do primary school students want from teachers?What kind of character and ability should primary school teachers have in the era of artificial intelligence in order to realize their own development and perfection while satisfying the career development?The core literacy study of primary school teachers in the AI era responds to this series of questions.It not only reflects the concern about the core quality of primary school teachers in the AI era,but also includes the importance of the quality of basic education training.Based on the existing research of artificial intelligence and education and teachers’ core literacy,combined the characteristics of the two,this paper uses the methods of literature research and theoretical analysis to discuss the core qualities that primary school teachers should possess in the era of artificial intelligence based on the theories of multi-intelligence,constructivism,professional development and core literacy.This article first describes the background,significance,research status and research methods of primary school teachers’ core literacy in the era of artificial intelligence,and interprets the concepts of artificial intelligence,the era of artificial intelligence,primary school teachers,core literacy,and teacher’s core literacy.Secondly,based on the interpretation of relevant concepts,starting from the knowledge,ability,attitude and other challenges faced by primary school teachers in the era of artificial intelligence,it clarifies the practical needs and theoretical basis for the construction of core literacy of primary school teachers in the era of artificial intelligence.Thirdly,after clarifying the actual needs and theoretical basis,this article discusses the basis and principles of the construction of core literacy of elementary school teachers in the era of artificial intelligence.It is based on the framework of "Core Quality of Chinese Student Development",the essential provisions of physical and mental development of primary school students,the inherent need of primary school students in the era of artificial intelligence,and the professional role of primary school teachers;the principles are the principles of the times and practice,the principles of criticality and foundation,the principles of science and uniqueness.The fourth part,Then,guided by principles and basis,expounds the main content of the core quality of primary school teachers in the era of artificial intelligence from the three dimensions of knowledge,ability and attitude,and points out that it is not the simple sum of the three aspects but the overall coordinated development.Finally,this paper puts forward the relevant suggestions from the three levels of the state,school and teachers themselves.The state should rebuild the core literacy training goal of primary school teachers,improve the core literacy evaluation and guarantee mechanism,schools should implement curriculum reform and increase training efforts,and teachers themselves should deepen their cognition and strengthen self-learning.
