After the rise of short Tik Tok represented by the Tik Tok,there are mixed reviews in the community.In order to understand the cognitive preferences and usage of College Students’ Tik Tok and short videos,this paper conducted a survey on the university students in Nanjing by means of questionnaire.Before the investigation and analysis,the relevant theories of cognition and use are combed and summarized.Based on this,the research path is drawn,and the corresponding research objects are analyzed to prepare for the investigation and research.According to Tik Tok data,SPSS data analysis software was used for scientific analysis and analysis.It was found that Nanjing college students had a positive bias towards APP,Tik Tok and short time video users,and the users were longer than those who had chattering.At the same time,new problems have been found in the investigation and research.On the one hand,college students’ after-school life tends to be video based leisure,which leads to unreasonable after-school life arrangement;on the other hand,the bad content in short video may affect the cultural aesthetics,values and socialization process of College students in the long-term viewing.Finally,combined with the media and education Tik Tok,two countermeasures are put forward,which are the operation of voice and the education of colleges and universities.On the one hand,we will give advice on how to better serve the college students in the future.On the other hand,we can strengthen the Tik Tok’s comprehensive educational function and professional educational function through the measures that schools and college students can take to achieve a more educational function of after-school video life.
