Research On The Influences And Countermeasures Of Short Video Culture On New Era College Students’ Patriotism Education

Patriotism is a powerful spiritual force for the Chinese nation to strive for national independence and safeguard national dignity,it is the most important spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation."Since that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,strengthening the patriotic education of college students in the new era is great and significant for inspiring the national spirit,gathering the strength of the nation,and achieving the Chinese dream of the Chinese nation’s great rejuvenation." College students in the new era are the most creative and receptive group during the process of social development.They are the "powerful generation" who shoulder the mission of national rejuvenation and are the core force to implement the future development of the country.Strengthening the patriotism education of college students in the new era is a casting project about the future and destiny of the country.With the rapid development of intelligent mobile devices and network information technology,short video culture rises rapidly and has a profound impact on interpersonal communication and social development.College students who are named as "generation of Internet"in the new era also start to be active in short video platforms,meanwhile,they are deeply influenced by short video culture.Since the 18th Communist Party of China(CPC)National Congress,the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has pointed out the great importance of patriotism education.College students in the new era are in a critical period of building patriotic values.As a double-edged sword,short video culture could not only bring many opportunities to the patriotic education of college students in the new era,but also bring challenges that cannot be underestimated.Today,with the vigorous development of short video culture,how to give full play to the advantages of short video culture to carry out patriotism education for college students in the new era and avoid the educational dilemma caused by it is the purpose of this paper,and it is also an important issue that can not be avoided in patriotism education for college students in the new era.This paper adheres to the stand and viewpoint of Marxist philosophy,comprehensively uses the methods of literature research,dialectical analysis and systematic analysis,and through combing and analyzing the definition,characteristics,historical development,current situation and the relationship between short video culture and patriotism education for college students in the new era,believes that short video culture has created unprecedented opportunities for patriotism education for college students in the new era,But it also brought a series of negative effects.Short video culture promotes the virtuous circle of patriotism education information;Enhance the participation consciousness of college students in the new era,and stimulate the patriotic feelings of college students in the new era;Enrich the patriotic cognition of college students in the new era,and enhance the patriotic identity of college students in the new era;Build a virtual space and expand the ways of patriotism education.However,due to the commerciality of the short video culture,the intergenerational characteristics of College Students’ pursuit of personality expression in the new era,the insufficient integration of the short video platform and college students’ patriotism education,the historical nihilism trend in the short video culture,and the imperfect restriction mechanism of the short video platform,the short video culture has had some negative effects on the development of College Students’Patriotism Education in the new era,including,Decentralization impacts the dominant position of educators,cultural barriers alienate patriotic consensus,shallow thinking desalinates patriotic emotion,pan entertainment dispels patriotic identity,fragmented deconstruction of systematic patriotic cognition,adhesion causes anomie of patriotic behavior,etc.According to the causes of the negative effects,this paper puts forward some countermeasures,such as changing the way of patriotism education in Colleges and universities,strengthening the management of short video platform,and improving the media literacy of college students,so as to give full play to the advantages of short video culture and make it a powerful new path of patriotism education for college students in the new era.
