| With the development of medical treatment and special education in our country,the enrollment type in special education schools has gradually tend to the students with mental retardation instead of hearing-impaired and blind ones.In recent years,the education of mental retardation has relationship with pedagogy,psychology and sociology tightly.The cultivation of social adaptability of students with intellectual disabilities has become the key in special education because of the lower social adaptability than that of normal children.This study is aiming at enable students with mental retardation to adapt to society better and improve their social adaptability reach or approach to the normal levels.This study uses group behavior training to intervene the social adaptation for students with moderate to mild intellectual disability,exploring the intervention effect and providing reference and suggestions for schools to cultivate the social adaptability of students with moderate or mild intellectual disabilities.This study selected 60 students with mild or moderate mental retardation who enrolled in special education schools,randomly divided them into 30 experimental groups and 30 control groups.The experimental group was intervened in the group behavior training,and the control group taught normally.By doing this to explore the Intervention,effect of group behavior training on social adaptability of students with moderate or mild intellectual disability.After the intervention of group behavior training,the following conclusions were came out through analyzing the experimental data.Firstly,there was no significant difference in the results and total scores of pretest and post-test of social adaptability of the control group.The improvement of social adaptability is not obvious.Secondly,there was no significant difference in total scores of the social adaptability of the experimental group and the control group students before the intervention of group behavior training,but large difference in the total scores of the social adaptability of the experimental group students before and after the intervention of group behavior training.After the intervention of group behavior training,there is a significant difference in the total score of social adaptability.Group behavior training has a good intervention effect on the social adaptability of students with moderate to mild mental retardation.Thirdly,there were no obvious differences in the scores on the dimensions of independent living,exercise,homework operations,communication,participation in collective activities and self-management before the intervention of group behavior training on the students in the experimental group and the control group before the intervention of group behavior training.The experimental group students had clear differences in scores on dimensions of independent living,communication and participation in the group activities before and after intervention of group behavior training.There was no significant difference in the exercise dimension.There is nodifference in scores between the experimental group and the control group on the dimension on exercise after the intervention of group behavior training.The group behavior training can effectively improve the ability of students with moderate to mild intellectual disability on independent living,interaction and participation in collective activities,but not obvious to the exercise ability.The intervention effects of group behavior training on students with moderate to mild intellectual disability need a further studied.Finally,it is an insignificant difference in the scores between the post-test and continuous test of the total scores of the social adaptation ability of the experimental group students.The group behavior training had a continuous effect on the intervention of the students with moderate to mild mental retardation. |
