Professional identity of kindergarten teachers is a process that kindergarten teachers continually asked:Why am I a kindergarten teacher?How can I be a good kindergarten teacher?and what kind of kindergarten teacher do I want to be?It also is a process in which the inner self and outer self of the kindergarten teacher are fitted,and the overall perception of self and professional work is gradually formed.Specific include goal identification,emotion identification,practice identification and ideal identification.There is no doubt about the importance of male kindergarten teachers to the healthy growth of children,but how do they understand and construct their own significance,value and professional development as kindergarten teachers?How do they in their eyes form the current self-image?With the continuous development of preschool education today,what are the connotations and characteristics of their professional identity,what aspects of hidden problems,etc.are worthy of in-depth research and discussion.This paper takes the male kindergarten teacher C,who works in a provincial demonstration kindergarten in Guizhou Province as the research object.By tracing the development of his professional identity process,It is found that teacher C’s professional identity has gone through the chaotic and confused stage,the exploration stage and the orientation stage.The reason is that,in terms of teacher C,his personal characteristics,role perception and positive practice reflection have influenced his professional development direction and goal.In terms of kindergarten,the competition and employment system,post-service teacher training and the support of the principal of the kindergarten encourage his post development goals and practice.In terms of education and society,the experience of normal education affects his emotional attribution,and the affirmation of parents stimulates his commitment to the teacher’s profession.Therefore,in order to effectively promote the professional identity of male kindergarten teachers,the male kindergarten teachers themselves should grasp their own gender advantages and stimulate internal motivation;strengthen self-cultivation and set up professional ideal.In terms of kindergarten,to create a humanistic atmosphere,endow the male teachers with emotional attribution;reasonable allocation of resources and environment to build a practice platform for teachers;improve the system environment,promote the growth of male teachers.The educational and social-cultural should to provide pre-service experience sharing and set career goals;to guide the correction of traditional ideas,leading to public opinion.
