Study On The Current Situation And Improvement Strategy Of Children’s Environmental Literacy In Kindergarten

Environmental Literacy embodies an individual’s comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the surrounding environment,and the ability to act responsibly in the environment.As a future citizen in the 21 th century,the level of kindergarten children’s environmental literacy has a direct impact on China’s overall level of environmental literacy.Therefore,it is an urgent need for kindergarten to promote environmental education and to cultivate and improve kindergarten children’s environmental literacy.This research takes big class children,teachers and parents of Z kindergarten in Wuhan City as the research object,through the research methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,observation,etc.,the main research activities are as follows: The current situation of environmental literacy of children in large classes,teachers and parents;the attitudes,methods and effects of teachers and parents on the cultivation of environmental literacy of children in large classes;and the influencing factors of the cultivation of environmental literacy of children in large classes.Through the research,it is found that there are three problems in the current situation of large class children’s environmental literacy training: The lack of environment literacy training in kindergarten,teachers’ lack of environment literacy training,and parents’ poor effect in environment literacy training.Based on the findings of the survey and the educational goal of large class in kindergarten,this study analyzes the factors that influence the formation of the problem,and proposes targeted improvement strategies to promote the cultivation of children’s environmental literacy.
