political education need use Chinese contemporary literature improve people’s mental state,this is a manifestation of cultural self-confidence,this paper discusses since modern and contemporary China’s outstanding literary works,thinking about how to comply with the aspirations of the call of The Times and the young,these excellent literary works of ideological and political education function,so as to meet the young rising literacy,through these excellent literary works for the youth perception from multiple aspects of the Chinese people under the leadership of the communist party of China life,emotion and value pursuit,Variety show the Chinese people to pursue dreams,realize value,perseverance to create the story of diligence,innovation,and based on the analysis of real life in our modern and contemporary outstanding literary works play the obstacles encountered in the process of ideological and political education function,to explore effective ways to give full play to the ideological and political education function of modern and contemporary excellent literary works,making itthe carrier in the cultivation of socialist core values in our country,so as to promote education and the theory of receiving ideological and political education.The second part is our country modern and contemporary outstanding thought to treat education function of literature review,this part includes the excellent Chinese contemporary literature thoughts lead shape function,moral function,culture function and function of social adjustment,ideas leading functions including cultivating young patriotism and correct the youth of the two aspects of value orientation,moral shaping function including education enlightenment function and aesthetic function of moral
