Research On The Relation Between Demographic Structure And High-quality Development Of Northeast Regional Economy

In 2000,China ushered in its seventh census.Population has never been less of a concern.However,with the progress of society,people are no longer only concerned about the total population problem,and the population structure has gradually become the representative of studying the population problem.Aging of population,gender imbalance,the improvement of population urbanization and so on,all belong to the field of population structure research.The relationship between population structure and economic high-quality development needs to be further explored.China has been paying attention to the development of northeast China.In Early Days of China,our government began to build "Northeast industrial base of China" to promote economic development.Southeast of China’s economy has greatly developed because of reform and opening while the development of northeast China is slow.China proposal the strategy of "revitalizing the industrial base of Northeast China".After a period of time,the development of northeast China widened the gap with others area,so China has put forward the strategy of "establishing new Northeast industrial base".The aging population and the shortage of labor force are hindering the economic high-quality development.It can promote the northeast of China by population urbanization and increasing employment in the tertiary industry.To search the relationship between the population structure and regional economic high-quality development.Based on the analysis of the population structure and economic development status of northeast China,the paper finds that the problem of population aging is serious and the industrial structure of population is not reasonable in Northeast China.At the same time,the gender structure is balanced and the population urbanization level is relatively high in Northeast China.However,the current economic situation in Northeast China is not ideal.GDP has begun to decline.The income gap between urban and rural areas in Northeast China is gradually narrowing,and the development of urban and rural areas is gradually coordinated,but the reserves of resources and energy in Northeast China are gradually decreasing,which will bring negative impact on heavy industrial enterprises.The overall economy of northeast China has shown a downward trend.After understanding the population structure and economic high-quality development in Northeast China,the paper uses the data from 2000 to 2019 to analyze the relationship between population structure and economic growth by linear regression analysis.It conclude that the age of population structure and industrial population structure have an impact on economic growth.However,economic growth has no effect on the gender structure of the population,it can influence the rest of population structure.Moreover,the paper studies the relationship between population structure and high-quality economic development in Northeast China.Firstly,in order to research population structure and the coordination level of regional economic development in Northeast China,the paper establish the coupling coordination model.The evaluation index system of population structure system and economic structure system is constructed by the data from 2000 to 2018.Through the calculation of coupling coordination model,the results show that the coordination degree of population structure and regional economic development in Northeast China has transited from the failure recession stage to the excessive harmony stage,and the coordination degree between the two systems is moving towards the direction of coordinated development with the passage of time,but it has not yet reached the stage of coordinated development.Secondly,the paper makes a qualitative analysis of the population structure and regional sustainable development in Northeast China through the combination of practice and experience.It is concluded that the increase of the proportion of the elderly population is not conducive to the regional sustainable development.But the increase in the proportion of employed population in the tertiary industry and the increase in population at the level of higher education are conducive to the sustainable development of the northeast China.While population urbanization influence on regional sustainable development has two sides.Finally,explanation of population policy based on the 14th five year plan of national economic and social development and long term goal of 2035,according to the actual situation of Northeast China,this paper analyzes the relationship between population structure and social equity in Northeast China is indirect,which is inseparable from the current situation of various regions and government policies.Based on the analysis of population structure and economic development in Northeast China,the paper puts forward the following four suggestions:encourage childbearing and establish a reasonable security system for the elderly.Adjusting the industrial structure contribute to economics.We will promote population urbanization,perfect urban-rural structure.Improve the cultural level of the population by increasing investment.
