Study On The Residence Intention And Influencing Factors Of The Inflow Population In Liaoning Province

After the 1990 s,with the deepening of the reform of China’s market economic system and the relaxation of restrictions on population movement,the gap between regional economy and urban-rural development has widened,which has caused a large-scale and sustained population flow across provinces in the whole country.China’s floating population has reached 236 million,according to China’s Statistical Yearbook 2020.The flow of population in China shows the basic characteristics of the flow from rural areas to urban areas and from less developed areas to developed areas.As a relatively developed province in Northeast China,Liaoning Province mainly attracts migrants from Heilongjiang,Jilin,Anhui and Shandong provinces.This paper takes the interprovincial inflow population of Liaoning Province as the research object and studies its main characteristics,residence intention,and influencing factors,to provide a reference for cities in Liaoning Province to better serve the inflow population.In this paper,the basic characteristics and residence intention of the inflow population in Liaoning Province were analyzed based on the data of the 2017 National Monitoring Survey on the Dynamics of the Floating Population released by the former National Health and Family Planning Commission.The basic characteristics mainly include individual characteristics,family characteristics,and inflow characteristics.Residence intention includes the overall residence intention,the residence intention of the inflow population with different characteristics,and the residence intention of the trans-provincial inflow population from different regions.According to the analysis results,a binary logistic regression model was established to explore the influence of each main index of the inflow population on residence intention.The results of the model show that the intention of residence of the inflow population with housing is higher than that of the inflow population without housing.The higher the income level of the inflow population,the higher their residence intention;The longer the population has been in the local area,the lower the willingness to stay.The inflow population who participated in the local urban health insurance had a higher residence intention than the uninsured population.The inflow population from the central region is more willing to stay than the eastern region.Based on the quantitative analysis of the influencing factors of residence intention,this paper puts forward specific measures to enhance the attractiveness of Liaoning Province to talents from outside the region,including optimizing the layout of regional economic development and promoting high-quality economic development;Formulate and implement the talent policy,strive to create the situation of human capital flowing back and into Liaoning Province;Measures such as improving the living conditions of the inflow population and promoting their social integration.In this way,it can provide human resources guarantee and talent support for the overall revitalization of Liaoning Province.
