| As the total fertility rate of women continues to decline and the average life expectancy of residents continues to increase,the situation of our country’s population aging is becoming increasingly severe.At the same time,among the large elderly population,the number of the higher-education elderly people is also increasing at an alarming rate.Due to the lack of the company of children,the transformation of social roles and the degradation of physiological functions,the "empty nest" phenomenon and the deterioration of the physiology are more likely to occur in the higher-education elderly people.Negative emotional problems such as depression and anxiety have led to greater and greater psychological needs,which should arouse people’s attention.In recent years,the professional development of social work has shown a rapid trend.Both service areas and service targets have become more detailed and precise.Therefore,professional social workers must use the professional perspective and methods of social work to respond to the special groups of the higher-education elderly.From the perspective of mindfulness,this research aims to alleviate the anxiety of the higher-education elderly,cultivate a positive attitude towards life,and realize the positive aging of the elderly.Through the comprehensive application of the practical framework of mindfulness training and the theoretical methods of social work,it aims to help the the higher-education elderly.Provide psychological counseling and spiritual comfort,discover positive events and improve the level of mindfulness,and re-form positive self-awareness.Based on the internship experience in the Social Work Department of the Elderly Service Center of LS District,L City,the author uses the mindfulness training practice framework and group work methods of Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy(MBCT)to carry out social work intervention services.The service process can be summarized into three stages: the first stage,the anxiety level and mindfulness level measurement stage,use the anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)and the five-factor mindfulness awareness scale(FFMQ)for pre-testing,and record the group members’ acceptance of the previous indicators;the second stage,the team member problem assessment stage,through observation and interviews,it is found that the team members have negative emotions such as depression and anxiety,reduced interaction with the outside world,decreased self-awareness,and lack of energy and easy sleepiness;third;Phase,the social work intervention phase,this research starts from "Mindfulness Quotations","Another Way of Knowing","Back to the Present,Focusing on the Present","Recognizing and Avoiding Reactions","Allowing and Adapting to Nature",and "Thoughts are not facts" ","Start the action plan","Mindfulness into life" eight themes to design group activities,through these eight themes of mindfulness training,alleviate the anxiety of the group members,enhance the group members’ self-awareness and self-affirmation,and help the team members integrate mindfulness into their lives.After the service was over,the measurement was performed again,and the results showed that the average post-test mindfulness score of the group members was significantly better than that of the pre-test,and there was a significant difference in mindfulness levels before and after the group;the anxiety level also improved significantly.In addition,the group’s activity goals have basically been achieved.The activity feedback survey conducted on the group members shows that after receiving group work services,the group members ’ anxiety has improved,they can look at the current life optimistically,and their self-satisfaction is significant.Improve and learn to use mindfulness perspective to solve problems.The results of this study show that the mindfulness cognition group can effectively improve the mindfulness level of the higher-education elderly and relieve anxiety,and social work services can promote the active aging development of the higher-education elderly.The combination of the two is practical.Based on the in-depth thinking of the service process,the author uses the mindfulness perspective and group work practice framework to carry out services.It is necessary to extract practical intervention models and respond to the unique needs of the higher-education elderly in a targeted manner,so as to truly implement "active aging" in social work practices.The concept of improving the life satisfaction and happiness of the elderly. |
