In recent years,due to multiple factors such as difficult employment and high requirements for personal development,more senior students have joined the postgraduate entrance examination team,and the competition for postgraduate entrance examination has become more intense.In the current hot social atmosphere of taking the postgraduate entrance examination,a large number of candidates who failed in World War I choose to continue preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination around their previous schools,known as the "graduate school drifters".Due to multiple influencing factors such as academic pressure,self identity transformation,inconvenience in life,and psychological entanglement,they are prone to anxiety during the preparation process for the postgraduate entrance examination,but it is difficult to pay attention to.The main focus of this article is on the issue of postgraduate entrance examination anxiety among school drifters and how to alleviate it.This article selects mindfulness cognitive therapy and intervenes in group work to alleviate the anxiety of school drifters in the postgraduate entrance examination.Eight group activities are designed: approaching mindfulness world,another way of knowing,returning to the present,focusing on the present,identifying avoidance reactions,allowing everything to be what it is,thinking only thoughts,initiating action plans,and integrating mindfulness into life.In the process of group intervention,attention should be paid to guiding school drift students to carry out mindfulness training for postgraduate entrance exams;During the group evaluation stage,the pre exam postgraduate entrance examination anxiety scale and the five factor mindfulness awareness scale were used to compare and analyze the pre and post test data of group members’ anxiety emotions and mindfulness levels,in order to evaluate the effectiveness of group work intervention.The research results indicate that mindfulness cognitive therapy can effectively alleviate the anxiety of graduate students from school drift families and improve their mindfulness level.Group work can help school drift students establish a new social support system,form peer support,and create a positive preparation atmosphere.There is a compatibility between mindfulness cognitive therapy and group work,and the combination of the two has advantages in intervening in the anxiety of school graduate students,which can effectively alleviate the anxiety of school graduate students.
