Dilemma And Breakthrough:Research On Family Back-feeding Of Inter-generational Digital Divide

Nowadays,aging and digitalization have become two major trends in China’s social development.However,the digital dividend does not automatically benefit every place and every group.Facing the Internet feast,the younger generation will feast on it,while the older generation may face the “digital divide” that is difficult to bridge.For middle-aged and elderly netizens,whether it is digital products that fail to meet their needs,digital skills that are difficult to master,or potential security risks in the network environment,this group may be placed in a“digital island”.In view of this,how to maintain an aging society in the context of the Internet and meet the growing digital integration needs of the elderly have become an important issue for social development.Based on the above background,this article turns the research perspective to the family interior,focusing on the inter-generational interaction model of family digital back-feeding.This is to explore the value utility of digital back-feeding in bridging the inter-generational digital divide,as well as possible problems in back-feeding interactions,and to try to explore effective ways to promote the integration of elderly digital.The thesis is divided into five parts to expand the discussion.The introduction is divided into five sections.First,explain the research background and research significance,so as to clarify the reason for the topic selection of the paper;secondly,define relevant concepts around key words such as digital divide and cultural feedback,and clarify the theoretical basis;then,comb through relevant domestic and foreign literature to understand the current research status of digital generation gap and digital back-feeding issues;finally,introduce the research methods,innovations and research deficiencies of this paper.The first chapter is divided into two sections,combined with the background of the times,pointing out the dilemma of inter-generational digital divide faced by the elderly.In the first section,it analyzes the macro social environment,that is,under the background of the interweaving and parallel trend of aging and digitization,China’s population aging problem is becoming increasingly serious,and digital survival has become the normal life of citizens.In the second section,it expounds the specific social problems,that is,the specific performance and main reasons of the inter-generational digital divide faced by the elderly.The second chapter is divided into two sections to clarify the basis of family inter-generational digital feedback,that is,to strengthen the necessity and possibility of digital feedback interaction.In the first section,it summarizes the demand motivation,and clarifies the practical significance of digital feedback by analyzing the digital integration needs of the elderly.In the second section,it summarizes the realistic basis.In short,the changes of family power structure,inter-generational communication mode and ethical framework provide conditions for the occurrence of back-feeding,and digital back-feeding is a necessary move for inter-generational coexistence.The third chapter is divided into two sections,through in-depth interviews,to investigate the bridging situation of the inter-generational digital gap by family digital feedback.In the first section,the specific process of research and design is explained,and combined with the framework of digital generation gap,three levels of digital feedback are summarized,namely digital access feedback,digital skills feedback and digital literacy feedback.In the second section,combined with the ERG demand theory,this paper analyzes the role of digital feedback in meeting the digital needs of older generations from the three dimensions of “survival,relationship and development needs”.The fourth chapter is divided into four sections,based on the results of the interview to conduct more in-depth thinking,and summarize the outstanding issues in the process of household digital back-feeding.Focusing on the four aspects of the situation,content,method and effect of back-feeding,summarize the obstacles faced by family inter-generational digital back-feeding.The fifth chapter is divided into two sections,combining the previous research,to explore the optimal strategy for bridging the inter-generational digital divide.On the one hand,it is necessary to give full play to the key role of the family,cultivate a new culture of filial piety with the times,and continue to enhance the effectiveness of family inter-generational digital back-feeding.On the other hand,the government,enterprises and all sectors of society should make further efforts to narrow the gap between generations and promote the establishment of a more warm digital inclusion circle,in order to realize the vision of a better society where the elderly can be taught,can learn,and can be loved.
