| Since 2001,the Ministry of Education has issued policies such as "Guidelines for Kindergarten Education(Trial Implementation)" and "Guidelines for Learning and Development of Children Aged 3-6".In this way,the cause of preschool education in our country has a new starting point,and the country has gradually begun to pay attention to preschool education.Teachers can design teaching activities according to the relevant contents and requirements in the Outline.Most children in small classes are about 3-4 years old.According to the critical period of language development for children at this age,teachers can adopt appropriate teaching methods and means according to the differences of each child’s development and design language teaching activities to improve the language development level of children.This study mainly uses literature method,text analysis method and interview method to select53 language teaching activity teaching plans designed by 8 small class preschool teachers in D kindergarten of Yanji City in 2020.By collecting and sorting out the teaching plans,the author studies the design of language teaching activities from four dimensions,including activity objectives,activity contents,activity methods and activity evaluation,analyzes the current situation of the design of language teaching activities for small classes in D kindergarten in Yanji City,and puts forward corresponding suggestions in view of the existing problems and causes.(1)Yanji D kindergarten small class language teaching activities are basically designed in accordance with four dimensions: activity objectives,activity content,activity methods and activity evaluation.The design of activity goals is based on the three elements of goals:knowledge and skills,process and method,emotional attitude and values;Basis of activity content selection: based on teaching objectives;Based on children’s age characteristics and interest points;On the basis of time,place and material;Activity method design: in the process of activities in the beginning part of the import of the most method is the introduction of children’s songs,stories,games,the expansion of the most used method is the combination of watching,listening,speaking,doing,the end part of the most used teaching method is the extension of activities;Design of activity evaluation: most teachers seldom conduct activity evaluation when designing language teaching activities.There are two methods of activity evaluation: one is to prepare files for each child for evaluation,the other is for teachers to conduct phased evaluation in the form of groups.(2)Through the analysis of 53 teaching plans of language teaching activities,the researchers found the following problems: the design of activity objectives is incomplete,knowledge and skills are attached more importance to,process and method are less importance to,emotional attitude and values are less importance to;The selection of activity content is not comprehensive,lack of interest and the scope of activity content is not wide;The activity process lacks playfulness and the teaching method is single;The content of activity evaluation is not specific and the method of activity evaluation is not scientific.(3)There are mainly two factors that affect the design of language teaching activities for small kindergarten teachers.First,the internal factors of the kindergarten.Kindergarten internal factors include kindergarten teachers,kindergarten principal,kindergarten resources and training;Second,the external factors of kindergarten.Kindergarten external factors include children’s parents.Among them,teachers’ professional quality,self-evaluation,reflection consciousness,understanding and concept of language teaching activities will affect the design of small class language teaching activities.The leadership style of kindergarten principals influences teachers’ design of language teaching activities.Whether kindergartens provide teachers with various resources and training will also affect the design of small-class language teaching activities.Parents also have an important influence on the design of kindergarten language teaching activities.According to the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward from two aspects of the internal and external factors of the kindergarten:(1)Preschool teachers should improve their ability to design language teaching activities.Including: organizing language teaching activities to observe and train,communication and suggestions,improve the level of teaching design;Strengthen the study of the knowledge of language teaching activity design and carry out practical training continuously;Attention should be paid to the self-evaluation and reflection of the design of language teaching activities.(2)The principal should strengthen the support and training for teachers.Including: the protection of preschool teachers’ spiritual and material support;Establish a special system for designing teachers’ teaching activities.(3)Seek parents’ support.Including: do a good job in home cooperation,encourage parents to participate;Correct the attitude towards teachers and the concept of language education. |
