| As COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control has entered the normal stage,psychological counseling for COVID-19 survivors to help them return to society and live a normal life has become an important content of social work services.After the epidemic has been basically controlled,it is a common way for social work services to intervene in the psychological growth of COVID-19 survivors through group work.This paper takes a psychological growth group of COVID-19 survivors as a case to analyze the main problems existing in the practice of group work to intervene in the psychological growth of COVID-19 survivors and puts forward suggestions for improvement.These difficulties and problems mainly include:lack of demand assessment of service objects,unclear requirements of service objects in the formulation of team plans,weak response of the executive team to changes in the process of team execution,and low independence of the executive team.In the author’s opinion,the following methods and strategies can be adopted to improve the follow-up services:perfecting the needs assessment,making plans according to the needs and characteristics of the service objects,adjusting the plans,reducing the variable factors in the process of group execution,and maintaining the decision-making power of the executive team in professional practice.This study mainly explores the difficulties of group work in intervening psychological development cases of COVID-19 survivors,so as to provide reference for follow-up services,so as to promote social work to participate in psychological counseling work of key groups after the epidemic,and give full play to the professional role of social work. |
