Research On The Educational Function Of Patriotism In University Campus Ceremony

Ritual,as an important practical activity of human social life,is an important way to balance social relations and construct social order.In recent years,the party and the country have attached great importance to the social enlightenment function of ritual etiquette.In 2019,the "Outline for the Implementation of Patriotism Education in the New Era" issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council fully clarified the important value of ritual etiquette as a resource for patriotic education.It points out the direction for my country to use ritual etiquette to carry out patriotism education.Schools are an important position for patriotism education,and the main target of school patriotism education is students.Universities in our country must make full use of ceremonial resources to strengthen the patriotic education of college students and provide qualified personnel for the socialist modernization drive.However,there are still many problems in the practice of carrying out patriotism education by means of campus ceremonies in colleges and universities at present,which has caused its patriotism education function to not be fully exerted.Therefore,effective measures must be taken to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of patriotic education in colleges and universities,so that the patriotic education function of college campus ceremonies can be effectively brought into play.In addition to the introduction,the full text has three parts.The first part is the patriotic education function of campus ceremony in colleges and universities.First,combined with the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,the concept of ceremony and university campus ceremony is defined,and the characteristics and types of university campus ceremony are analyzed.Secondly,starting from three aspects:the nature and characteristics of campus ceremonies in colleges and universities,the historical practice of patriotic education of the Chinese Communist Party,and the realistic requirements of current patriotic education,it explains why colleges and universities can and why they should use campus ceremonies to carry out patriotic education.Finally,combined with the case of campus rituals,it is theoretically demonstrated that campus ceremonies in colleges and universities have the functions of promoting national identity,stimulating patriotic emotions and guiding patriotic behavior,and are of great value to the development of patriotic education in colleges and universities.The second part is an investigation of the current situation of the patriotism education function of campus ceremonies in colleges and universities.According to the different patriotic education functions of college campus ceremonies,questionnaires are designed and surveyed.The analysis shows that the current campus ceremonies in colleges and universities have played a positive role in promoting college students’national identity,inspiring college students’ patriotic feelings,and guiding college students’ patriotic behavior.However,there are the following problems:first,college students’ national history,excellent traditional culture,and The relevant understanding of the Communist Party of China is not comprehensive enough,and national identity needs to be further deepened;second,the creation of campus ritual situations lacks appeal,the emotional experience of participants is insufficient,and the intensity of patriotic emotion continues to diminish with the end of the ceremony process,and patriotic emotion is stimulated It needs to be further enhanced;thirdly,the participants in the ceremony do not have enough understanding and compliance with the ritual norms,the campus ceremonies have insufficient continuity in the guidance of patriotic behavior,and the guidance of patriotic behavior needs to be further enhanced.According to the research results and related literature,the reasons for the problems are analyzed from the subject’s cognition,planning and implementation,long-term mechanism,and social environment.The third part is the exploration of the path to effectively play the patriotic education function of campus ceremony in colleges and universities.In view of the existing problems and their causes,a realistic path to give full play to the patriotic education function of campus ceremonies in colleges and universities is proposed:one is to enhance the subject’s cognition and fully tap the ritual education resources;the second is to organize and plan carefully to strengthen a good ritual education experience;the third is to improve Relevant mechanisms to enhance the effect of long-term ritual education;the fourth is to optimize the external environment and condense a strong ritual education force.
