| The view point of children’s labor is the result of the present children’s labor education,and it is also the valuable material to reflect on the infant labor education.The research on view point of children’s labor is helpful to clarify the logical starting point of children’s labor education,providing support for children’s labor education theory and guiding children’s labor education practice.The existing research objects of labor view are mostly concentrated on college and middle school students,especially college students,and few involve the research of view point of children’s labor.It is also from the perspective of adults,lacking children’s perspective.Research based on the perspective of children,giving children the right to express and fully respecting their voices can help us obtain the most authentic views and attitudes toward labor.For this reason,this study takes 52 children in two large classes of H Garden in W City as the research object,and adopts the observation method,interview method and painting work analysis method suitable for children from four aspects of children’s understanding of labor connotation,namely,’ children’s labor motivation,children’s understanding of labor value and children’s labor preference to explore children’s labor concept.Based on the grounded theory and with the help of NVIVO11 software,the original data were analyzed,and the following conclusions were obtained:First of all,based on their own labor experience,children interpret the connotation of labor from multiple dimensions,but often narrow labor to physical labor with service nature.Children illustrate with examples,pointing to specific labor activities or labor behavior;or from their own emotional experience,labor is defined as a negative emotional experience;or grab the important attribute of labor that is,"doing things","work" to define labor.Secondly,most children’s labor motivation is spontaneous motivation,which originated from the interest in labor itself,the need for love and respect and the desire to learn.Therefore,children are willing to work,actively labor.But the external reward and the external request which cannot be refused are also the external motivation which drives the children to work.Thirdly,most children realize the value of labor.Children think that labor has the value of development,emotional value and the value of communication.Children think that labor can promote their physical and mental development and lay the foundation for future development.Children in the labor can confirm self-worth,form a positive self-concept,and then produce a sense of pleasure.Children also feel the communication value of labor in labor practice.Finally,young children have obvious labor preference.Young children like to work for others,take care of natural objects and do manual work.Children are eager to work in nature,but also have the need to work alone,but also hope to get the support and help from family members and peers.Based on the above research conclusions,the researcher further discusses and analyzes some problems or phenomena in children’s view of labor,that is,children tend to narrow the concept of labor to doing physical labor,children have the need of free labor and labor in nature.Based on this result,the researcher reflects on the current infant labor education,putting forward that the infant labor education should deepen the content of labor,enrich children’s labor experience,return to the essence of labor,give children proper freedom of labor and expand labor space to meet children’s desire to work in nature. |
