Aesthetic imagination is an important part of children’s aesthetic psychology,which plays an important role in promoting children’s overall development of body and mind.The Guide for Learning and Development of Children Aged 3-6 clearly states in the field of art that it is necessary to stimulate children’s feelings and experience of beauty,enrich their imagination and creativity,and enable them to express and create beauty in their own ways.Therefore,developing children’s ability to imagine and create beauty is not only the development and requirement of children’s life growth,but also the important purpose of early childhood education.The element of labor-themed activities is an important stimulus to the development of children’s aesthetic imagination.Based on this,this study aims to use labor tools,labor environment,labor objects and labor results in labor-themed activities to influence the older children to improve their ability of aesthetic imagination.This study adopts the action research paradigm of "plan one action one reflection one adjustment one action again",and comprehensively uses the methods of literature,observation and interview to explore the effect of labor-themed activities on the development of aesthetic imagination in senior class of kindergarten.In the research preparation stage,through combing the literature,we revised the large class children’s aesthetic imagination rating scale with four dimensions of diversity,fullness,recreation and creativity,selected three labor theme activities of "self service","collective service" and "planting and feeding",and randomly selected 32 children as experimental group and 32 children as control group in Y kindergarten.In order to understand the reality of the development of children’s aesthetic imagination ability in the two groups.In the implementation stage of the study,32 children in the experimental group were intervened by 9 sub labor-themed activities for three months,and during the process,the effects and problems of this round were summarized and reflected continuously to make preparations for adjusting the next round of activities in time,and then put forward reasonable teaching strategies for promoting the development of aesthetic imagination of large class children by using labor theme activities.Through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the experimental results,the result is that labor-themed activities can promote the development of children’s aesthetic imagination in four dimensions: diversity,fullness,recreation and creativity.Therefore,this study proposes to enhance the aesthetic diversity among the elements of children’s labor-themed activities,grasp the aesthetic fusion among the images of children’s labor theme activities,enhance the aesthetic relevance among the types of children’s labor theme activities,and enrich the aesthetic creativity among the results of children’s labor theme activities,so as to make preschool teachers make better use of the labor-themed to promote the development of children’s aesthetic imagination.
