This research adopts qualitative research paradigm, uses interview method.The writer selects two kindergartens of N city.In each kindergarten,the writer selects randomly two classes as the study object, a total of 54 children. The writer mainly adopts the analysis method of rooting in the original materials.By generalizing and upgrading, the writer gradually generates the results of the study.On the basis of the original materials, the writer generates four research themes:the definition of play, characteristics of play, the classification of play, conditions of play. Specifically, five-six years old children’s definition of play is divided into the following views:Play is the name; Play is the eyes of the authoritative; Play is the material;Play is the process. And five-six years old children’s opinions of play characteristic, are divided into the following views:freedom and rule; which is divided into two levels of views, one view is "play is only free", another view is "play is not only free,. But also has limits";Pretend and reality; which is divided into two views:One is that play is pretended,another is that play is not only pretended, but also real; Most of the children think play is fun;Most of the children regard "learning knowledge" as a reference to judge play.Besides,five-six years old children’s classification of play, presents the following characteristics:from the "small" to "big", from "easy" to "the most difficult", from "normal" to "advanced". Last,five-six years old children’s opinions of play condition, are divided into the following views:Needing the teacher’s permission;Needing certain space; Needing Materials and playmates,which is divided into two views:One view is that play needs to one-dimensional conditions:Needing materials; Needing playmates. Another view is that play needs two conditions, have the materials, more having the playmates;Needing a certain limits of physical and mental participation in,which is divided into two views:One view is that play needs the conditions of one-dimensional:a certain limit of body participation in or a certain limit of mind participation in; Another view is that play needs two-dimensional conditions,young children not only need to participate in body, but also need to participate in mind.On the basis of the results, the write discusses on the following issues:Young children pay attention to inner experience rather than the external form; Most young children regard "learning knowledge" as a reference to judge play;Young children don’t mention teachers’ participation in play. After, the write gives some suggestions for teachers:Making play "fun":Focus on young children’s play experience; "Together":Playing with children; Permeating play spirit:improve the degree of gamification activity.
