The development and popularization of big data and artificial intelligence technology have profoundly changed the way of social production and lifestyle, promoted today’s society from an information society to an intelligent society, and caused great changes in the education environment and educational methods, such as the development and popularization of online learning.Information literacy is a necessary quality for people to live, learn and participate in production in the intelligent era.China has proposed that information literacy is an important part of cultivating high-quality and innovative talents in colleges and universities.Due to the influence of COVID-19 epidemic, the development process of online learning has been greatly accelerated, and the online learning achievement has become the focus of education researchers.Although many researchers have studied the influence factors and teaching methods of online learning from many aspects, they have underestimated the importance of information literacy. At the same time, the rapid development of the field of educational data mining has not only greatly enriched the analysis methods of online learning data, but also provided new ideas for online learning research. Therefore,in order to clarify the impact of information literacy on the effectiveness of online learning, this research intends to conduct research on the following two issues based on educational data mining theory and related methods:(1)Does information literacy affect students’ online learning outcomes?(2)Does information literacy affect the relationship between online teaching behavior and students’ online learning outcomes? After literature review on the evolution of the concept of information literacy, the development status of online teaching, the concept of online learning achievement and the relationship among the three, this study takes the SPOC online course and its students offered by a provincial normal college on the MOOC platform in China as the research object, and based on theory and methods of educational data mining,The information literacy test data of students, course test data and online teaching behavior data of teachers were collected and analyzed as follows:(1)In order to explore the research question 1,two categories of students’ information literacy and three categories of potential growth of course test scores are determined by using latent profile analysis and latent class growth analysis.Based on the above results, the relationship between students’ information literacy and online course test scores is explored.(2)In order to explore the research question 2,dynamic panel data model was used to analyze the impact of teachers’ online teaching behavior on students’ course test scores, and the impact of online teaching behavior on students’ course test scores was discussed based on the categories of students’ information literacy.Based on the above analysis, this study, the following conclusions:(1)the relationship between information literacy and online learning achievement is significant, and the students with high information literacy are more likely to have a better online learning achievement;(2)the teacher initiate discussion has a significant positive effect on test scores of college students;(3)the teacher initiate students mutual has a significant negative effect on test scores of college students;(4)especially for the high information literacy of students, the teacher checking students’ papers have significant positive effects on their test scores.Based on the discussion and analysis of the above conclusions, this research puts forward the following suggestions for online teaching:(1)Teachers should give students active supervision and feedback;(2)Teachers should actively guide students to participate in discussions;(3)Online teaching should focus on teaching students in accordance with their aptitude;(4)Pay attention to the practice and training of students’ information literacy in the teaching process.
