Nowadays,as the concept of corporate social responsibility is widely accepted, whether an enterprise can better fulfill its social responsibility has become one of the key concerns of all stakeholders of an enterprise.More and more women participate in the process of corporate governance and play an important role in corporate decision-making.Due to gender differences, there is a big difference in leadership style between male managers and female managers. Then,it is worth studying the influence of female executives on the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility.By combing the literature,it is found that the power of female executives is seldom involved in the exploration of the relationship between female executives and corporate social responsibility at the individual level in previous studies. And less incorporation of gender culture at the structural level. These two factors are very important to analyze the relationship between female executives and CSR.Therefore,on the basis of previous research experience, this paper incorporated these two influencing factors to explore the relationship between female executives at the individual level and CSR,as well as how this relationship changes under the influence of structural factors. This paper constructs an analytical framework of the relationship between female executives and corporate social responsibility from the perspective of social gender theory. This paper makes a theoretical analysis of the relationship between female executives and CSR from the perspectives of internal subjectivity factors and external structural factors, and puts forward four corresponding hypotheses. From CSMAR and other databases, relevant data of A-share listed companies that made social responsibility information disclosure from2015 to 2017 were selected, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to empirically test the hypothesis.Empirical analysis results show that the four hypothesis is accepted from the level of female executives main body: both the number of female executives and the proportion of female executives and corporate social responsibility present positive correlation,in other words, with the proportion of female executives and the increasing number of the higher level for the implementation of the corporate social responsibility in addition, when the number of female executives more than three, compared with less than three, more can promote the implementation of corporate social responsibility when female executives have power can positively regulate the percentage of female executives for the promotion of corporate social responsibility In other words, under the condition that the proportion of female executives in a company is high and there are female executives with power, the promotion effect of female executives on corporate social responsibility is more obvious from the perspective of structure:when the power within a company is more dispersed,it is more democratic in such a companyThe conclusion of this paper is that the role of female executives in promoting CSR is not only related to women own characteristics, but also needs the support of internal and external structural factors. This study is helpful to enlighten enterprises to pay more attention to the gender diversity of senior executives.Ensuring gender diversity in the senior management team can not only promote the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility, but also help to create a fair career platform for women.
