As one of the major areas for the country to shake off poverty,the western region should not only vigorously develop its economy,but also the synchronous development of education is of great significance for promoting the development of the whole western region.Previous studies have found that emotional intelligence has an important impact on job burnout.With the deepening of the reform of basic education,the construction of teachers’ team cannot be ignored.To explore the relationship between primary school teachers’ emotional intelligence and job burnout provides a new perspective for relieving teachers’ job burnout,and also broadens the path for strengthening the construction of basic education teachers.This paper takes primary school teachers in western China as the research object,conducts an investigations and research,USES SPSS statistical analysis tool to make an empirical analysis on the relationship between emotional intelligence and job burnout of primary school teachers in SD county,and tests the mediating effect of self-efficacy.The results show that:(1)The use of emotion exhaustion by primary school teachers in the western region has a significant negative impact;the dehumanization dimension has a significant negative impact on self-assessment,others’ assessment,emotional regulation and emotional use;the low sense of achievement dimension has a significant negative impact on emotional regulation and emotional use.(2)The dehumanization dimension of primary school teachers in western China has a significant positive impact on self-efficacy.(3)The dimensions of the emotional intelligence of primary school teachers in the western region,such as self-emotional evaluation,others emotional evaluation and emotional application,have a significant positive impact on self-efficacy.(4)The self-efficacy of primary school teachers in the western region plays a part in mediating between self-emotion evaluation and dehumanization,others’ emotion evaluation and dehumanization,and emotion application in dehumanization.This paper finds that improving teachers’ emotional intelligence and self-efficacy can help primary school teachers actively deal with the symptoms of job burnout.Combined with the humanistic characteristics of the western region,this study takes the research results of primary school teachers in SD county as an example to provide methods and new ideas for alleviating the occupational burnout of primary school teachers in the western region.Based on this purpose,this study proposes the following Suggestions:(1)According to the research results of SD county,the western region should attach importance to the important role of emotional intelligence in improving the overall quality of teachers and strengthening the resistance to job burnout of teachers,vigorously advocate the attention to teachers’ mental health,establish the concept of comprehensive development of teachers’ body and mind,and build a "high-quality,professional and innovative" teacher team.(2)In the western region should perfect hours inspection standard and way of rewards and evaluations,adhering to the people-oriented concept,the assessment mode diversification of teachers can not only affirm pay,also can motivate teachers constantly improve themselves,improve teachers’ self-efficacy,arouse the enthusiasm for work,in a more positive attitude to deal with job burnout.(3)Each county schools in the western region should be combined with local economic development condition,within the scope of the ability to implement the attention to teachers’ mental health and emotional state,conditions good schools should make full use of existing resources,set up the psychological consulting room on mental health assessment,improve school cultural soft power,to give teacher better development environment;Schools with backward economic level can promote mutual help among teachers and create a supportive campus atmosphere,which is conducive to the emotional stability of teachers and the improvement of their emotional intelligence.(4)The management of schools in the western region should adopt flexible management methods for teachers,conduct post transfer according to the personality characteristics and actual situation of teachers,and reasonably manage the personnel by taking into account the differences in gender,teaching age and other aspects.(5)For the development of teachers themselves,stable and positive emotional support can bring continuous spiritual motivation to teachers,pay attention to the emotions in the inner world,improve emotional intelligence and self-efficacy,and help teachers to improve professional happiness.
