The Impact Of Mobile Media On Ideological And Political Education In Xinjiang Universities And The Countermeasures

At the end of 2018,the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued licenses for low-frequency test frequency of 5G systems to the three basic telecom operators.The access and use of the Internet by mobile terminals in China has reached 788 million.As the emerging “Fifth Media”,mobile media has the characteristics of convenience,immediacy,wide dissemination and deep influence.It not only changes the cognitive style of college students,but also affects the practical behavior of college students.It has an important influence on the ideological and political education of colleges and universities in Xinjiang.Therefore,Xinjiang colleges and universities need to have a deep understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of mobile media,and make rational use of their greatest advantages to do a good job in ideological and political education in Xinjiang universities.This paper investigates the current situation of the use of mobile phone media by college students in Xinjiang by questionnaire survey method.It is concluded that the positive influence of mobile media on ideological and political education of Xinjiang college students is: to expand the coverage of ideological and political education of Xinjiang college students;to innovate education mode;to enrich educational carriers;Educational effectiveness.The negative influence of mobile media on the ideological and political education of Xinjiang college students is: impacting the ideological concepts and behaviors of the subject and object of education,blurring the boundaries between the subject and object of ideological and political education,affecting the physical and mental health of Xinjiang college students and increasing the complexity of the environment of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Through investigation and research,this paper analyzes the reasons for the negative impact of mobile media on the ideological and political education of Xinjiang college students.For example,the mobile phone media literacy of the subject and object of education needs to be improved;the colleges and universities in Xinjiang are insufficiently guided and encouraged by the new education model;the ideological and political education propaganda platform needs further research and development;the social circles don’t pay enough attention to the mobile media network environment.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of mobile phone media used by college students in Xinjiang,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward to give full play to the positive role of mobile media in the ideological and political education of college students in Xinjiang: to improve the mobile phone media literacy of the subject and object of education;to innovate the ideological and political education mode;to strengthen the mobile media of Xinjiang college students The construction of education platform;guide many parties to pay attention to mobile media to serve ideological and political education.In general,the integration of mobile media into the ideological and political education of college students in Xinjiang is the trend of social development.Giving full play to the maximization of mobile media to serve ideological and political education is also an important measure to cultivate and practice the core values of socialism.
