| With the constant upgrading of science and technology,how to improve students scientific literacy in education has increasingly emphasized by the development of national education.In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the Science Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Primary Education defined the basic subject status of science and puts forward new requirements for science teaching in primary schools.However,at present,teacher resources of science teachers in primary schools are still in weak situation while the professional quality of science teachers needs solid improvement urgently.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a reasonable and effective evaluation method of teachers specialization level to evaluate and develop the teaching level of science teachers.As an important indicator of teachers professional development,PCK can effectively evaluate teachers level and degree of professional development in teaching.So it is of great importance,urgency and practical significance to carry out study on PCK of science teachers in primary schools and to develop a PCK evaluation questionnaire for science teachers.Since there is no unified theoretical framework for PCK,this research first sorts out,deeply analyzes and discusses the PCK theory development process.In the meantime,PCK theoretical framework applicable to the development of primary school science teachers is selected as the theoretical support of this study.In combination of the framework with the previous research experience,it develops PCK evaluation questionnaire for a specific subject of science teaching of "Microbiology".To ensure the quality of the questionnaire,the questionnaire development process follows the following steps: Developed and distributed the initial questionnaire in a small scale.Modified the questionnaire to form the final version.Then,used online assessment methods to measure a total of 151 science teachers in Nanjing and Xiamen.Finally,used SPSS and AMOS software for data processing and analysis.it verifies the effectiveness of the questionnaire to evaluate the PCK of science teachers and the PCK level differences of science teachers in various regions and PCK influencing factors.The results indicate that the questionnaire is with good reliability and validity which can reflect the PCK level of science teachers in the subject of microbiology teaching.The difficulty of the questionnaire is moderate,which can be used to distinguish the different PCK levels of teachers.As a result,the questionnaire developed in this resaerch can measure and evaluate the PCK of science teachers under specific teaching subject.At the same time,developing ideas and implementation process of the questionnaire are scientific and feasible.Moreover,by analyzing the influencing factors of the PCK scores,it is found that there are small regional differences in the PCK level of science teachers under the microbial subject.But the PCK level of teachers is significantly different with different occupational background,professional title and educational background.The results of the study can provide reference for the development of PCK evaluation questionnaires in other disciplines and also provide some reference for the professional development of science teachers. |
