Study On The Dissimilation Of Consumption Of Contemporary College Students

As a basic social activity that people rely on for survival and development,consumption shows different values and life concepts,and also reflects the general trend of economic development and social change.People live in different times,their production activities and consumption patterns will naturally be different.With the reform and opening up and economic globalization process is advancing day by day,China has gradually realized the transition from a planned economy with a lack of material supply to a market economy with a relatively abundant material supply,which has relatively satisfied people’s living needs and material enjoyment.But do not ignore the ideological trend of western consumerism and introduced into China,and spread and penetrated into all aspects of national food and clothing live line,impact and interference with the mainstream social values and traditions of our country’s outstanding consumer culture,and affects people’s consumption patterns and consumption habits,leading to loss of autonomy and critical,blindly pursue and advocate the principle of the supremacy of material possessions and money,the society become a morbid society full of bad atmosphere in consumption.In the new era background,college students as a relatively different consumer team,their unique consumption mode to lead the consumption trend and trend of the whole society in the future plays a vital role.This paper takes contemporary college students as the research object,synthesizes the previous research results and the literature material,through the questionnaire and so on forms to carry on the empirical investigation and the statistical analysis to the different regions part of college students’ consumption situation.According to the investigation,it is found that the consumption of contemporary college students is generally more scientific and reasonable,but there are also a large part of college students’ consumption view appeared serious distortion and deviation.On the one hand,they do not have enough economic resources and rich social experience,on the other hand,their psychological thoughts are not mature and sensibility is more than rationality,which gives consumerism a chance to take advantage of,making college students produce many abnormal consumption psychology and bad consumption behavior such as blind comparison and overdraft.This will not only bring them and their families a lot of problems and troubles,but also not conducive to the construction of a harmonious campus atmosphere and a beautiful social environment.Besides the introduction,this paper is divided into three parts:The first part is about the related concepts and theories of consumption alienation.Firstly,it defines four related concepts of consumption alienation,and explains the connotation of alienation,consumption,consumption alienation and contemporary college students’ consumption alienation respectively.Then it analyzes and sorts out the relevant theoretical explanations of consumption alienation,including Marx’s alienated labor theory and commodity fetishism,Frankfurt School’s consumption alienation theory,ecological Marxism’s consumption alienation theory and post-Marxist Baudrillard’s consumption alienation theory.The second part is the representation and cause analysis of contemporary college students’ consumption alienation phenomenon.First of all,according to the consumption questionnaire of some college students,the paper points out that the consumption alienation of contemporary college students is mainly manifested in five aspects:following the trend and conformity consumption,showing off and comparing consumption,extravagant and wasteful consumption,excessive excessive consumption and heavy material enjoyment consumption.Secondly from individual,family,school and college students national social four angles,deeply analyses the reasons,including the values of college students’ consumption psychology is not mature and error,the family consumption education negligence and excessive indulgence of their children and encourage,colleges and universities for the college students’ consumption and financial education is not enough attention,the problem of the gap between rich and poor significantly and the social bad style in vogue;At last,the paper expounds the negative effects,such as unfavorable to the free and all-round development of college students,aggravating the family economic burden and causing family disharmony,affecting the harmonious campus atmosphere and the construction of beautiful campus,and threatening the sustainable development of human society and nature.The third part is the realistic way to solve the consumption alienation of contemporary college students.Aiming at the existing problem of contemporary college students on the consumption behavior,and focuses on college students themselves,families,schools and the effective combination of the society,must want to guide students to establish the reasonable consumption,attaches great importance to the family financial management education of their children,to play the leading role of consumption education in colleges and universities,the formation of society together to create a good consumption environment.Therefore,it can better promote contemporary college students to improve their self-control and self-discipline,consciously correct and regulate their consumption concept and consumption behavior,optimize and upgrade their consumption structure,help them get out of the dilemma of consumption alienation,and realize their comprehensive and free healthy growth and development.Solving the problem of contemporary college students’ consumption alienation is one of the challenges facing us in the new era.College students’ consumption group is an important part of the whole social consumption group.Analyzing and exploring the phenomenon of college students’ consumption alienation can reflect some consumption problems existing in the social environment.Therefore,it is of great significance to find out the root of the problem of college students’ consumption alienation and put forward some valuable and feasible practical countermeasures to eliminate consumption alienation,which will help the whole society to form a healthy consumption environment.
