Investigation And Research On The Status Quo Of University Students’ Volunteer Service Under The Background Of Epidemic Prevention And Control

With the continuous progress of society,the construction of spiritual civilization also requires keeping up with the pace of economic development,and the key content within its scope-"volunteer service" has naturally attracted attention.The Fourth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China regarded "sounding the voluntary service system" as one of the key points in adhering to the socialist core values leading the cultural construction system.As the main participants of voluntary service,college students not only contribute their own strength to the society in the process of participating in voluntary service,but also allow the traditional virtue of helping others to survive.General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly replies,sent messages and made important instructions to college student volunteer service organizations,and has affirmed and encouraged college student volunteer service,which makes college students more enthusiastic about volunteer service.At the beginning of 2020,in the face of the sudden new crown pneumonia epidemic,the vast number of college students bravely moved forward,not afraid of danger,actively engaged in volunteer services for epidemic prevention and control,bravely assumed social responsibilities,and stood up unyielding in the face of challenges.Through research on the new situation and new situation of college students’ voluntary service for epidemic prevention and control,it can provide vivid cases and rich experience for the development of voluntary service in the future.In the context of epidemic prevention and control,this article uses the research method of questionnaire survey to investigate and analyze the awareness,participation,management and development of volunteer services for epidemic prevention and control of college students in some universities in Inner Mongolia.Through investigation,it is found that college student volunteer service has made great achievements during the epidemic prevention and control period: the scale of voluntary service gradually expands,the content is gradually professionalized,and the practical ability of college student volunteers is continuously improved.However,due to the suddenness of the new crown pneumonia epidemic,voluntary services for epidemic prevention and control are quite difficult,such as inadequate pre-job training,simplification of recruitment channels,the public opinion orientation of some college students volunteers is not accurate,and greater psychological pressure,etc.difficult.In response to these difficulties,summarize the experience of voluntary services for epidemic prevention and control,and put forward enlightening suggestions and reflections from four aspects:ideological guidance,rights protection,publicity,and organization and management.
