Research On Group Work Intervention To Improve The Volunteer Service Ability Of Railway Station Volunteers Under The Background Of Epidemic Prevention And Control

In the past two years,due to the emergence of New Coronavirus pneumonia,the train station’s epidemic prevention and control work is facing great challenges.Railway station volunteers are an important new force in epidemic prevention.They participate in voluntary services free of charge and escort passengers.However,in the process of service,they also exposed the lack of their ability of voluntary service,such as failing to answer the questions of epidemic prevention travel asked by passengers,being in a hurry when encountering potentially infected passengers,not knowing the epidemic prevention process of the railway station,not doing a good job in self-protection when providing services,and so on.Their ability to participate in voluntary service needs to be improved.At the same time,due to the heavy workload of epidemic prevention,the large number of volunteers and high mobility,the railway station is often unable to manage and train volunteers.In the context of epidemic prevention and control,it is important and urgent to train volunteers and improve their volunteer service ability.In the existing research,although there are many studies on the volunteer service ability of volunteers,there are few studies under the background of epidemic prevention and control,and there are fewer studies from the practice of social work.Therefore,this study takes the volunteers of X volunteer service station in Liuzhou City,Guangxi who provide volunteer service in the railway station as the research object.Under the guidance of group power theory and advantage perspective theory,using the method of combining literature research and field research,this paper carries out practice and Research on the application of group work in the improvement of volunteer service ability of railway station volunteers under the background of epidemic prevention and control.The study found that the need to improve the volunteer service ability of railway station volunteers mainly focused on disease prevention,information acquisition,emergency treatment and psychological adjustment.According to the specific needs,this paper designs the activity scheme of the group work.The whole group is divided into initial,middle and later stages,and expounds the whole group from three aspects: group goal,group process and stage summary.Finally,through the evaluation of group satisfaction and effect,summarize experience and put forward improvement measures.Through the intervention,the goal of the group work was basically achieved,and the ability of most railway station volunteers in epidemic prevention information acquisition,self-protection,psychological adjustment and emergency treatment has been improved.They are full of confidence and motivation to participate in the volunteer service of epidemic prevention in the railway station.This paper also draws a conclusion: the dynamic and static factors of the group can be well applied to the improvement of the volunteer service ability of railway station volunteers;Group work can improve the volunteer service ability of railway station volunteers,especially the improvement of disease prevention ability and emergency response ability.
