Sports tourism is an emerging industry form that deeply integrates the tourism industry and the sports industry.It is a new bright spot in the development of the tourism industry.With the rapid development of our country’s economy,affected by the increasing availability of free time and the popularization of the concept of physical fitness,the sports tourism industry is developing in full swing.Sports event tourism represents the process of all tourism activities carried out by tourists entering the venue of the sports event from a different place,and is a prominent section of sports tourism.The content of sports event tourism is less than that of sports tourism,which includes a variety of tourism products after the combination of sports events and the host place.Although the tourism field of domestic sports events has exploded in recent stages,its theoretical basis,practical conditions and practical experience are still relatively weak compared with foreign countries due to its late start.The development of sports tourism resources in China is lack of preferential policy support,lack of investment in sports tourism development,lack of effective integration of sports events and tourism in many aspects,lack of publicity and marketing,lack of professional organizers,imperfect relevant laws and policies,lack of unified scientific definition of sports tourism and sports tourism,and most of the overall research is based on The concept of "sports tourism" is studied in a broad sense.The research on sports tourism is mainly reflected in the case study of a city or a successful sports tourism,without guiding high position and overall layout.2020 should be the year of world sports and tourism.However,the impact of the epidemic has made it a "year of suspension".The world’s sports and tourism industry has suffered a profound blow,and has not yet subsided.Tourism industry,according to the data released by the United Nations World Tourism Organization in January 28,2021,COVID-19 has caused global tourism revenue loss of 1 trillion and 300 billion dollars,and the number of international tourists has dropped by 74%,or 1 billion people,compared with the previous year.In 2020,The total number of domestic tourists was only 2.88 billion in terms of visits,a decrease of 52.1% from the previous year.In addition,the total domestic tourism revenue was 2.2 trillion yuan,down 61.from the same period last year.1%。 In terms of sports industry,the events to be suspended in 2020 include Tokyo Olympic Games,2020 world sports tourism has been widely concerned by the world.The author believes that Wuhan is the capital of Hubei,and its status is the only sub-provincial city among the six central provinces.In addition,it is also a megacity,has excellent and rich tourism resources and sports events resources,and its influence is growing with each passing day.Its sports facilities and tourism facilities have been greatly improved after the military games.After the epidemic,the government issued a series of tourism activities to benefit the people,which are popular throughout the country With the end of the epidemic and the orderly recovery of the tourism market,Wuhan’s urban tourism will hit the bottom and rebound,and its market potential is unlimited.In the future,with the arrival of epidemic period and the complete retreat of global epidemic situation,sports tourism and event tourism will reach the peak rapidly.In the past 20 years,I have experienced many international and domestic top-level events in Wuhan.I believe it is imperative to grasp the off-season opportunity,meditate and deeply comb the development of Wuhan event tourism and carry out a comprehensive study.This paper aims to explore the resource mining and overall development status of Wuhan sports event tourism resources,analyze the interaction between high-level sports events and tourism in Wuhan in recent years,analyze the cognition and consumption decision-making behavior of event tourism participants and organizers,and think about the effective measures of Wuhan sports event tourism brand development,especially in this city After the baptism of epidemic situation,the sustainable development direction and strategic measures of sports event tourism in the future are proposed.I hope that with my own professional ability and deep feelings for my hometown city,I can provide useful and referential analysis and ideas for Wuhan sports tourism development planning and policy-making,and provide practical and effective theoretical support from the event tourism practitioners.In terms of research methods,this thesis is mainly in the form of application of literature research method,realization test,and questionnaire survey method,RMP analysis,AHP,expert interview,etc.The paper is divided into five chapters,in which the first chapter is introduction,summarize the thesis and research tasks and significance;Chapter 2 is the literature review part,which mainly defines the relevant concepts,and deeply studies and refines the relevant research on sports tourism and Traveling to sporting events around the world.The third chapter deals with the research objects and methods,and elaborates the corresponding research methods and technical route used in this paper.The fourth chapter is the analysis of Wuhan sports tourism based on the theory of RMP,which mainly analyzes the resources,market and environment of Wuhan sports tourism from the perspective of RMP theory,and leads to the analysis of the construction of RMP-AHP model;the fifth chapter is the summary of the research conclusions and suggestions.Clarify the structure and resource situation of Wuhan’s sports tourism field,and try to make new plans of "big Wuhan,Big events,Big tourism",and deeply analyzes Wuhan sports tourism market and event tourism market.In the related research,it is the first time to conduct an in-depth investigation on the influencing factors of Wuhan event tourists’ consumption decision-making,and analyzes Wuhan sports tourism market and event tourism market The government,organizers,colleges and other experts and practitioners of the event tourism market conducted in-depth interviews and contributed a lot of new and creative ideas;the regional characteristics of Wuhan tourism were deeply refined,and the advantages of creating benchmarking products,strengthening water resources,information technology industry,university resources,automobile
