The Development Study Of Educator Du Bois

African American WEB Dubois is a scholar,social activist,writer editor,father of pan-Africanism movement,and an outstanding figure of educational thinker in American history.He is also a spiritual leader of black people since the end of the19 th century.Its educational thought,which involves a wide range,has a strong theoretical and contemporaneity,is the basic principle guiding the black nation rejuvenation movement.This paper focuses on the history of individual growth,adopts the method of literature research and historical analysis,in order to explore the deep reasons for Dubois to grow into an educational thinker,namely the law of the growth of educational thinkers,and tries to summarize the historical experience and enlightenment.First of all,based on the evolution of Dubois’ individual growth process,this paper combines the development of his educational thoughts and divides them into three stages according to the growth degree: juvenile preparation stage,youth development stage,theoretical maturity stage and breakthrough stage,showing the gradation and progressiveness of Dubois’ educational thoughts.Then it analyzes the influencing factors for Du Bois to grow into an educational thinker from the perspective of internal and external conditions.The external conditions are mainly the adaptability of individual growth,including the adaptation to important others and key events.The internal conditions are mainly the transcendence of individual growth from the perspective of psychological history.Finally concluded dubois grow into education thinker essential reason is the unity of individual growth adaptability and transcendence,and tried to learn history,model for training new times education thinker in China,namely,active use of the environment,comply with the development of The Times,theory combined with practice,independent development,the firm faith ideal.
